Sons of good family and daughters of good family, whoever correctly hold the precepts, will be overcome by the Bodhisattva. If a person of the Hearer Vehicle thoroughly instructs a person of the Bodhisattva Vehicle in the Perfection of Discipline, and dedicates all those instructed minds to omniscience itself, then that instructor, the person of the Hearer Vehicle, will be overcome by the Bodhisattva. Why is that? It is because it is dedicated to omniscience itself. O venerable Gangpo, for example, if someone carries a golden man and walks, then that which is carried, the golden man itself, will overcome with color, shape, and light.
