Then, approaching, together in that courtyard adorned with jewels, the Blessed One came there, and in front of the Blessed One, in the sky above, as tall as seven palm trees, with palms joined, making the entire realm of the three thousand great thousand worlds hear its voice, and with these verses corresponding to the Dharma, praised the Blessed One: Warrior without dust, without defilement, free from desire, Without the obscuration of wisdom, three eyes completely purified. Eliminating all faults, abandoning the three stains and heaviness, I prostrate to the Buddha without dust, the compassionate one. Fearless and completely dispelling the net of delusion, The ten powers are difficult to subdue by the hosts of adversaries. Causing fear to the beings of other paths who have entered the wrong path, Like a lion, without intimidation, walking on the earth. In the realm of gods and on the earth, also free from all faults, Your limbs are without stain, shining brightly. After well dispelling darkness, obscuration, and ignorance, Shining like the sun freed from the net of clouds. These beings are without protector, without refuge, suffering, Tormented by old age and death, without a place to rest. The supreme sentient being generates loving-kindness and compassion, Like a doctor, liberating them and passing away. Ignorance and delusion, difficult to cross the ocean of existence, Afflictions and discriminations are intense, with many torrents. Not hearing from others, but himself well transcending, Like a lotus, without attachment, the Well-Gone. These dharmas, by their nature, are without self, Like an echo in a valley, arising dependently. Without a maker, without a feeler, The protector of the world speaks for the benefit of sentient beings. The dharmas of the world flow like the water of the mountains of the world, What unwise people rely on has no essence. Knowing that all dharmas are like autumn clouds, Having transcended existence, and denouncing all existence. Having eyes like the petals of a red lotus blossoming, Possessing a splendor greater than a hundred suns and moons. Praised and extolled in all the world, worthy of praise, Untamable, free from illness, I prostrate to you. The supreme one among limitless humans, reaching the other shore.

The departed. The excellence of all virtues has been surpassed. The virtues of the Sugata are immeasurable. I prostrate with my head to the field of merit of the Buddha. Then, the Bodhisattva Inexhaustible Intellect, together with those sixty kotis of Bodhisattvas, praised the Blessed One with verses that were in accordance with the Dharma. They descended from the sky above and prostrated with their heads at the feet of the Blessed One. They circumambulated the Blessed One seven times. Having been permitted by the Blessed One, they sat in lotus posture on those lotus essences, together with their retinue. Then, by the power of the Buddha, the venerable Sharadvatiputra rose from his seat, bared one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and, with palms joined, bowed towards the Blessed One. He said to the Blessed One, "Blessed One, where does this Bodhisattva Inexhaustible Intellect come from? What is the name of that Tathagata? What is the name of that world system? How far is that world system from here?" The Blessed One replied, "Sharadvatiputra, therefore, you should ask this Bodhisattva Inexhaustible Intellect. He will show it to you." Then the venerable Sharadvatiputra said this to the Bodhisattva Inexhaustible Intellect: "Son of good family, where do you come from? What is the name of that Tathagata? What is the name of that world system? How far is that world system from here?" Inexhaustible Intellect said, "Venerable Sharadvatiputra, do you still have the perception of coming and going?" He replied, "Son of good family, I have completely understood perception." He said, "Venerable Sharadvatiputra, if you are endowed with the complete understanding of perception, then you do not engage your mind in either of the two. Why do you think in this way, 'Where do you come from?' Venerable Sharadvatiputra, the term 'coming' is a term of gathering. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, the term 'going' is a term of removal. For that which has no term of gathering and no term of removal, there is neither coming nor going."
