What are the four? Namely, one should thoroughly understand the definitive meaning of all dharmas, one should thoroughly understand the meaning of all dharmas, one should thoroughly understand the various causes and conditions of all dharmas, and one should enter the true gateway of all dharmas. World Protector, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who see the four meanings, striving diligently for the true nature of all dharmas, will become extremely skilled in distinguishing the nature of all dharmas. What are the four? Namely, one should thoroughly understand the nature of immeasurable dharmas, one should be extremely skilled in meditating on immeasurable true dharmas, one should increase and generate immeasurable qualities and conduct, and one should know and see the nature of the arising and ceasing of all dharmas. World Protector, furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who see the four meanings, striving diligently for the true nature of all dharmas, will become extremely skilled in distinguishing the nature of all dharmas. What are the four? Namely, one should attend to the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment, one should quickly perfect the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, one should not rely on others by being extremely skilled in the means of all dharmas, and one should be extremely skilled in all wisdom and prajna. Being diligent and earnest, and being very skilled in distinguishing the characteristics of all dharmas. Holder of the World, furthermore, bodhisattvas mahasattvas who possess four qualities are diligent and earnest about the true characteristics of all dharmas, and become very skilled in distinguishing the characteristics of all dharmas. What are the four? For the benefit and happiness of sentient beings, having no stain of stinginess in the mind; always having pure discipline; abiding comfortably in the perfection of diligence, having no obstacles to diligent conduct; and making proper effort, thereby being very diligent in the perfection of wisdom. These are the four. Holder of the World, furthermore, bodhisattvas mahasattvas who possess four qualities are diligent and earnest about the true characteristics of all dharmas, and become very skilled in distinguishing the characteristics of all dharmas. What are the four? Having a very pure and complete aspiration; having pure and complete effort in conduct; abiding comfortably in the qualities of patience that are not taken to heart; and obtaining the rays of light that distinguish the true characteristics of all dharmas. These are the four. Holder of the World, furthermore, bodhisattvas mahasattvas who possess four qualities are diligent and earnest about the true characteristics of all dharmas, and become very skilled in distinguishing the characteristics of all dharmas. What are the four? Seeking the wisdom of omniscience with great desire; and generating great desire by being very skilled in distinguishing meditation, liberation, and samadhi; engaging in pure conduct in order to attain the mind of great love, compassion, joy, and equanimity; and cultivating the definitive meaning very well. These are the four. Holder of the World, furthermore, bodhisattvas mahasattvas who possess four qualities are diligent and earnest about the true characteristics of all dharmas, and become very skilled in distinguishing the characteristics of all dharmas. What are the four?
