For the sake of Nanu Vajra Division and the land of Li (Khotan, an ancient kingdom from 632-1006 AD, now the Hotan area of Xinjiang), I bestow these four assemblies upon you. By all means, may this dharani mantra make you endowed with blessings and splendor, and likewise, may the young Vajra Division be liberated from all harm. Then, at that time, the thirty-two lords of the earth, the four guardians of the world, the Yaksha king Kunta Vijaya, the Naga king Anavatapta, the Hariti (the demoness who steals children) with her son and retinue, and all the protectors of the land of Li, rose from their seats and beseeched the Bhagavan thus: "Bhagavan, we wish to take charge of the land of Li, when the stainless light and the Vajra Division take birth there, and when the Buddhas, the Bhagavans, emit rays of light upon them and bestow sacred objects, we will also go there and bestow sacred objects. Bhagavan, please explain the dharani mantra to us, we wish to uphold it." At that time, the Buddha Bhagavan Shakyamuni, and the Buddha Bhagavan who emits rays of light, and the Tathagatas who utter words, spoke this dharani mantra: Homage to the Tathagata who abides in the renounced kingship. Homage to the Tathagata who abides in the supremely excellent Buddha kingship. Homage to the Tathagata who abides in the lion's Dharma kingship. Homage to the Tathagata who abides in the kingship of equality, the flower of the limbs of enlightenment. Homage to Vairochana. Homage to Vairochana, the king of great compassion. 呀！此陀罗尼能使一切人与非人心中欢喜，变得光辉灿烂。一切众生的言语都能听从，教诲也不会违背。还可以用此来熬制酥油，即用白胶香、三种旃檀、爪哇肉豆蔻、石灰华、蜂出恭、豆蔻、杉木、小豆蔻、荜茇、茜草、阿魏、蓝宝石和白睡莲的花朵，其他药物的总量有多少，白睡莲的花朵也放多少，然后将这些放入酥油和水中熬煮。用此陀罗尼和此坛城，以及前面所说的马处之明咒来加持。这样做就能很好地成就。当这些熬好时，念诵三十三次后饮用，就能从一切疾病的恐惧中解脱，那时要对诸神赞颂。这名为“遍照”的酥油，以及这名为“遍照”的陀罗尼，能使天人和人们欢喜。何时念诵此陀罗尼，那时诸神的喜悦花园就会变得非常美丽，心和土地都感到欢喜，那时诸神就会忆念起佛陀的教诲，来到无垢光天女所在之处，他们会这样说：何时你念诵遍照陀罗尼，那时我们的喜悦花园就会变得非常美丽，极其增盛，我们为了童子金刚部，如先前向世尊祈请的那样，你想要的一切殊胜之物都将赐予你。何时童子金刚部和无垢光天女听到世尊和诸神的那些话语，那时他们会双膝跪地，合掌祈请说：世尊您赐予我们的这项事业非常重大，如果世尊和诸神能帮助我们，我们就能将于阗（新疆和田地区）的国土掌握在手中。

Ya! This dharani makes all humans and non-humans happy in their hearts, and makes them radiant and glorious. The words of all sentient beings will be listened to, and teachings will not be disobeyed. It can also be used to cook butter, that is, with white rosin, three kinds of sandalwood, Java nutmeg, travertine, bee excrement, cardamom, cedar, small cardamom, long pepper, madder, asafoetida, sapphire, and white lotus flowers. As much as the total amount of other medicines is, as much white lotus flowers should be added. Then put these into butter and water and cook them. Bless with this dharani and this mandala, as well as the previously mentioned horse-place mantra. Doing so will achieve well. When these are cooked, recite thirty-three times and drink it, and you will be freed from all fear of disease, and then you should praise the gods. This butter called "Vairochana," and this dharani called "Vairochana," make gods and humans happy. When this dharani is recited, then the joyful garden of the gods becomes very beautiful, the heart and land feel happy, and then the gods remember the Buddha's teachings, come to where the Immaculate Light Goddess is, and they will say: When you recite the Vairochana dharani, then our joyful garden will become very beautiful, extremely prosperous, and for the sake of the Vajra Youth Group, as we previously prayed to the Blessed One, all the excellent things you want will be given to you. When the Vajra Youth Group and the Immaculate Light Goddess hear those words of the Blessed One and the gods, then they will kneel on the ground and pray with their palms together, saying: The task that the Blessed One has given us is very important. If the Blessed One and the gods can help us, we will be able to take the land of Khotan (Hetian area, Xinjiang) into our hands.
