Following the completely pure mind. For example, like the king of transformation, just as, because the mandala of a mirror is completely pure, the image that appears on the completely pure mandala of a mirror, such as the color, signs, and shape of what is approached, appears exactly as it is without any increase or decrease. The mandala of the mirror does not discriminate or think, yet those things appear. Like the king of transformation, the Bodhisattva also, because his own mind is completely pure and the mandala of the Dharmadhatu is completely pure, fully knows all the ways in which the minds of sentient beings arise. The Bodhisattva has no obscurations on his own mind, nor does he have obscurations on the minds of others. Therefore, if the retinue engages in desire, he fully knows their minds. He also truly sees the mind that is free from desire. Why is that? Because the nature of the mind is without attachment. If the retinue engages in hatred, he fully knows their minds. He also truly sees the mind that is free from hatred. Why is that? Because the nature of the mind is not hatred. If the retinue engages in delusion, he fully knows their minds. He also truly sees the mind that is free from delusion. Why is that? Because the nature of the mind is not delusion. If the retinue is devoted to the Hearer Vehicle, he knows their conduct exactly as it is, and he does not make the Dharmadhatu small. If the retinue is devoted to the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, he knows their conduct exactly as it is, and he does not make the Dharmadhatu middling. If the retinue is devoted to the Great Vehicle, he knows their conduct exactly as it is, and he does not make the Dharmadhatu supreme. Because he knows the conduct of the minds of all sentient beings, he teaches the Dharma, and he does not discriminate the nature of the mind. Because he establishes all vehicles, he teaches the Dharma, and he does not make the Dharmadhatu different. Because the Dharmadhatu is not different, he fully knows the conduct of all sentient beings.

knows. He contemplates mind with mind, and the mind does not act on the mind, nor does it contradict it. He also thoroughly understands the essence of the minds of all sentient beings, and thoroughly knows that whatever is the realm of Dharma is the realm of mind. King of Transformation, in this way, the Bodhisattva obtains the supernormal knowledge of knowing the minds of others. With this supernormal knowledge, he knows the world with the gods. King of Transformation, furthermore, the Bodhisattva obtains the supernormal knowledge of directly realizing the knowledge of previous lives, which is inexpressible. By maintaining equanimity of the senses, he remembers previous lives. He teaches the Dharma based on his own and others' previous lives, starting from as many kalpas as there are sands in the Ganges River. In such and such a place, I was named so and so, my lineage was so and so, my lifespan was so long, and I experienced such and such happiness and suffering. Similarly, he thoroughly understands the situations of other sentient beings. He thoroughly understands the origin of the previous good roots of sentient beings, knowing that these sentient beings have the power of cause, these sentient beings have the power of conditions, the cause of these sentient beings is the Hearer Vehicle, the cause of these sentient beings is the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, and the cause of these sentient beings is the Great Vehicle. After he understands the previous cause of sentient beings, he teaches them the Dharma accordingly. By directly realizing previous lives, he obtains the perfect practice of previous lives. He remembers the good roots he cultivated in the past towards the Buddhas, and dedicates all those that were not dedicated to Bodhi to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. He remembers previous lives and also thoroughly knows that all dharmas do not move from the prior end to the later end. Whether from the prior end to the posterior end, or from the posterior end to the prior end, he sees it clearly. He also thoroughly knows that all dharmas have no coming or going anywhere. When he remembers the prior end, he does not become attached to the view of the prior end. He remembers the posterior end
