The bodhisattva fearlessly teaches the Dharma to the retinue, and is skilled in distinguishing all Dharmas, possessing unobstructed eloquence and uninterrupted eloquence, and knowing all languages. Therefore, the bodhisattva fearlessly teaches the Dharma to the retinue; with the liberation of devotion to all places, he knows the preparation of medicines according to his wishes, fully understands the faculties of all sentient beings, and teaches the Dharma according to the individual suitability of each being. Therefore, the bodhisattva fearlessly teaches the Dharma to the retinue. He is free from the fear of the retinue, because some come from the eastern, southern, western, and northern directions, thinking: Who will not ask me questions? I cannot answer him. Such signs are not truly seen by the bodhisattva. He opens the opportunity for all sentient beings to ask questions, and answers whatever questions they ask. Therefore, he is free from fear and is skilled in cutting off all doubts, fearlessly teaching the Dharma to the retinue. These kings of transformation are the four fearlessnesses of the bodhisattva. What are the eighteen unshared qualities of that bodhisattva, the king of transformation? The bodhisattva is an uninstructed giver, he does not need anyone to urge him to give, but immediately develops an interest in giving upon birth. Even if a demon comes in his own form and says to him: What is the use of you giving? Those who give will be reborn in hell. Even if he says this, the bodhisattva will never be stingy, he develops an interest in completely giving up all possessions, he develops an interest in distinguishing the giving itself, and all his giving is inclined towards Bodhi, not expecting mature results, and is completely dedicated to all sentient beings. This is the first unshared quality of the bodhisattva. The bodhisattva is an uninstructed moralist, even if the Tathagatas have not appeared, he will not learn from anyone, nor will he accept the Pratimoksha vows, nor will he be bound by the Pratimoksha precepts.

. He is fond of learning. Even when a Bodhisattva is at home, he must protect the precepts that have been established. Having renounced, there is no need to say that he must protect the Pratimoksha vows separately, this is the unique aspect of a Bodhisattva. Even for the sake of life, he does not abandon the basis of learning. All moral conduct is directed towards enlightenment, and this is dedicated to all sentient beings abandoning immoral conduct. This is the second unique Dharma of a Bodhisattva. When he is scolded and slandered by all sentient beings, even if his limbs are cut off, he suffers extreme poverty, and is slandered by outcastes, evil castes, and basket makers, the Bodhisattva's mind will not be disturbed. He pervades them with love, and even if he has the ability and power to retaliate, he does not retaliate, but relies on the nature of Dharma. Relying only on the Buddha's Dharma, and donning armor in order to generate faith in those sentient beings, this is the third unique Dharma of a Bodhisattva. Even if that Bodhisattva is extremely impoverished, he will not abandon diligence, and his mind will not be discouraged. When he sees the Shravakas completely passing into Nirvana, even if he sees that actions in Samsara are painful, he will not direct his mind towards the complete Nirvana of the Shravakas. When he sees the Pratyekabuddhas completely passing into Nirvana, even if he sees that actions in Samsara are painful, he will not direct his mind towards the complete Nirvana of the Pratyekabuddhas. When he sees the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, accomplishing all purposes and completing all the deeds of the Buddhas, completely passing into Nirvana, even if he himself is incapable and the Buddha's Dharma is not completely perfected, at that time his mind will not be discouraged, but his intention will be extremely complete, and he will completely pass into Nirvana with such a complete Nirvana. Thus generating diligence, this is the fourth unique Dharma of a Bodhisattva. When he becomes a Chakravartin king, or becomes Indra, the lord of the gods, or becomes a Mara king, he is surrounded by many goddesses, enjoying the happiness brought by heavenly musical instruments, dances, and songs.
