Son of the gods said: Manjushri, how do Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas abide in the gate of liberation with the unconditioned and unmixed? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, under what circumstances do Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas show liberation from all gates? In that case, son of the gods, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas abide in the gate of liberation with the unconditioned and unmixed. Son of the gods said: Manjushri, how are Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas skilled in practicing frowning in order to subdue those with excessive pride? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, under what circumstances do Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas seek and observe Nirvana from Samsara, and also seek and observe Samsara from Nirvana? In that case, son of the gods, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas are skilled in practicing frowning in order to subdue those with excessive pride. Manjushri said: Son of the gods, under what circumstances do Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas observe all dharmas as not migrating? Son of the gods said: Manjushri, how are Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas free from the aspect of views and skilled in dependent origination? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, under what circumstances do Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas know that all dharmas are without a lord? In that case, son of the gods, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas are free from the aspect of views and skilled in dependent origination. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, how are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas those who accomplish asceticism with completely pure intention? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas know that enlightenment itself is Bodhi, then, son of the gods, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas are those who accomplish asceticism with completely pure intention. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, how are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas those who have no hatred and possess the power of patience? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas know that all dharmas are forever completely extinguished, and view them as such, then, son of the gods, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas are those who have no hatred and possess the power of patience. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, how are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas those who have reached the other shore of all Paramitas? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas see all dharmas as coming from the other shore, then, son of the gods, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas are those who have reached the other shore of all Paramitas. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, how are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas those who live near all sentient beings? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas thoroughly understand the inexhaustible realm of Dharma, then, son of the gods, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas are those who live near all sentient beings. In the manner that all Buddha-fields appear without the appearance of phenomena, thus, son of the gods, are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who manifestly assemble in all the worlds. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, how are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas praised by all sentient beings? Manjushri replied: Son of the gods, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas do not take up any dharma, nor abandon it, thus, son of the gods, are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas praised by all sentient beings. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, how are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who have nothing to say about all virtuous conduct? Manjushri replied: Son of the gods, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas know all dharmas to be equal and similar to space, thus, son of the gods, are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who have nothing to say about all virtuous conduct. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, how are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who have pure wisdom as their essence? Manjushri replied: Son of the gods, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas do not make any distinctions in the realm of dharma, thus, son of the gods, are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who have pure wisdom as their essence. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, how are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who have become powerful through mastering dharma? Manjushri replied: Son of the gods, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas know all minds with an inconceivable mind, thus, are the Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas who have become powerful through mastering dharma. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, how are the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who have become teachers in all activities? Manjushri replied: Son of the gods, when the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas know all dharmas through one dharma, and also know one dharma through all dharmas, thus, son of the gods, are the Bodhisattva
