Having heard the sound that is complete, understanding the meaning itself, all faults do not arise in joy. This Dharma-nature is the supreme meaning, it cannot be spoken. This is from hearing the meaning and sound, proceeding among beings, and will proceed. Son of the gods, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva possesses four qualities, they are those who teach the Dharma in the manner of the world. What are the four? Teaching the Dharma to those who speak playfully, bestowing the remembrance of death upon the gathering of many ordinary people, rejoicing in the great giving, and dedicating it entirely to enlightenment, and in all clamor, tending towards solitude. These are the four qualities. To that, it should be said thus: When one is among many people, the wise should engage in Dharma talks there. For gatherings where many people have gathered, one should cultivate the awareness of impermanence. Therefore, with mindfulness, one should rejoice in the five kinds of giving of others, and having rejoiced in giving, one should dedicate it to enlightenment. Whenever encountering clamor, one should strongly desire to tend towards solitude. Son of the gods, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva possesses four qualities, they are those who speak as the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have spoken. What are the four? Not abandoning the mind of enlightenment, making the practice of listening the essence, acting as one has spoken, and entering into selflessness by nature. These are the four qualities. To that, it should be said thus: Even if afflicted by hardship and harm, one does not abandon the mind of enlightenment. Making the practice of hearing the Dharma that protects them the essence. Words are truthful, acting as one has spoken. Those wise ones enter the selflessness of all dharmas by nature. Thus, the wise one who strives will act as spoken. Constantly striving, not abandoning, conforming, selfless, nothing at all. The garland of constant fame will spread in the ten directions. Thus, those who speak the Dharma are superior in the wisdom of the Dharma. Son of the gods, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva possesses four qualities, they are those who speak the Dharma to sentient beings. What are the four? Abiding in one's own practice and teaching the Dharma to sentient beings, oneself

Subduing and, guarding and, liberating and, taming and, completely passing into nirvana, and teaching the Dharma in order to subdue other sentient beings and, guard and, liberate and, tame and, completely revert from suffering, and one's own mind is determined towards perfect complete enlightenment, and also firmly establishing sentient beings in the Great Vehicle, and oneself desiring the Dharma, and because of desiring the Dharma also teaching it to others, these are the four dharmas. To this it is said: Taking practice as the essence, teaching the Dharma to beings, subduing, guarding, well-taming, reaching the state of complete nirvana, those who are not subdued, not guarded, not tamed, not in nirvana, not reaching nirvana, lead them to the treasure of the Dharma. They have a firm intention for the Bodhi mind, and also establish beings in that Great Vehicle. Constantly desiring the Dharma, having meaning, respecting the Lama, and teaching sentient beings the Dharma that is in accordance with it. Son of the gods, Bodhisattva Mahasattva, If possessing four dharmas, they are those who are praised by those with clairvoyance, what are the four? Again and again abiding in the four Brahma-viharas, constantly and continuously abiding in solitude, having patience for the profound Dharma, and knowing the equality of body and mind, these are the four dharmas. To this it is said: Always abiding in the Brahma-viharas, and also generating joy in abiding in solitude, with wisdom obtaining certainty from profound patience, and having a mind equal to space. Those who diligently practice in this way without regression, are praised by the five clairvoyances, they seem to be sitting in front of the Buddhas, and they can also ripen many sentient beings. Son of the gods, Bodhisattva Mahasattva, if possessing four dharmas, they are difficult for all demons to overcome, what are the four? The four dhyanas of manifestly cultivating the aspect of emptiness, the great compassion of not abandoning all sentient beings, the diligence of not cutting off the lineage of the Three Jewels, and the six perfections of manifestly cultivating skillful means.
