Knowing that all lands are inherently peaceful, and teaching the Dharma in order to liberate all sentient beings from suffering and lead them to peace, pacifying countless sentient beings who are ablaze with the three fires and leading them to complete liberation from suffering, and also acting in complete liberation from suffering, but ultimately not causing further liberation from suffering through complete liberation from suffering, thus, son of the gods, the Bodhisattva is one who possesses the Dharma of complete liberation from suffering, skilled in means, and certainly born into the knowledge of means, Benefiting all sentient beings, and possessing compassion. When Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta taught this teaching, more than a hundred thousand beings obtained the Dharma-eye, which is without dust, without stain, and completely pure, in the Dharmas. Sixty thousand beings were liberated from the outflows without grasping, and their minds were completely liberated. Those sentient beings who had previously planted roots of virtue and attended to many Buddhas obtained forbearance in the Dharma of non-arising. Twenty-five thousand Bodhisattvas each obtained the dhāraṇī called "Inexhaustible Store of Aspects." Two million and five hundred thousand beings generated the mind of enlightenment for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. From the sky above, showers of flowers were manifestly rained down in order to make offerings to the Bhagavan and Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta. Then, the son of the gods, Adhimaticitta, said this to Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta: "Mañjuśrī, how does a Bodhisattva arise through means and wisdom?" Then, Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta spoke in verses to the son of the gods, Adhimaticitta: "When the mind is without attachment, that is the unsurpassed Bodhicitta; the nature of the mind is manifest, that is the characteristic of wisdom. All generated minds are completely dedicated to enlightenment, and completely relying on the Bodhicitta, that is the characteristic of means. When one knows with wisdom that all sentient beings are without self, untrue, and accumulating in vain, that is the characteristic of wisdom. Because all sentient beings should go to Bodhi.

Giving to external objects, and gathering with firm intention, that is the characteristic of skillful means. When one never sees self and enlightenment, and the three spheres are completely purified, that is the characteristic of wisdom. For inner and outer, completely giving away everything, completely dedicating to all sentient beings, that is the characteristic of skillful means. Peaceful, extremely peaceful, pure, not self-important with discipline, body, speech, and mind are peaceful, that is the characteristic of wisdom. Entering into discipline, and also causing others to practice discipline, praising the discipline of the Buddha, therefore it is called skillful means. All phenomena are completely empty, cultivating patience of no-self, body and mind do not speak, that is the perfection of wisdom. The body does not act, speech and mind also do not act, for all phenomena are secluded, that is the perfection of wisdom. Enduring the anger, killing, and bondage of all sentient beings, not abandoning those sentient beings, that is the perfection of skillful means. In order to fully ripen sentient beings, completely abandoning the bliss of meditation, appearing in cities and villages, that is the perfection of skillful means. Not this shore, not the other shore, completely abiding in the harmonious other shore, cutting off the view of proliferation, is the realization of the perfection of wisdom. Whoever realizes emptiness, does not abandon, and causes sentient beings to practice emptiness, that is the conduct of skillful means. The Buddha is formless, like space, observing through the gate of Dharma, at that time there is no attachment to form, that is the characteristic of wisdom. Wanting to offer to the characteristics of the Buddha, offering to countless Buddhas, causing all guides to enter into offering, therefore it is called skillful means. Phenomena are without dust, free from dust, equal by being equal to space, not grasping any phenomena, that is the perfection of wisdom. In order to fully uphold the Dharma, abandoning body and life, being secluded from all the world, that is the gate of skillful means. In order to abide in the Dharmadhatu, completely abiding in the true limit, not moving from Suchness, that is wisd
