And, clinging to not being afraid and not being fearful, those holy beings of the teachers are those who have seen the Tathagata well. We have come here and heard this teaching, we have not become meaningless. Wherever there are villages, cities, towns, regions, countries, and the surroundings of the king's palace where this Dharma teaching is practiced, it should be known that the Tathagata will not completely pass into Nirvana, and the sacred Dharma will not disappear. This Dharma teaching destroys the mandala of Mara and defeats all the places of the heretics. Then, the Naga king Anavatapta said to Manjushri, who had become a youth, "Manjushri, if it is said that a Bodhisattva who practices in non-practice is not difficult to attain Bodhi, then, Manjushri, how is a Bodhisattva said to practice in non-practice?" Manjushri said, "Naga Lord, the emptiness of the conduct of those who are perfectly generous is the emptiness of the conduct of the stingy. Equal conduct is called practicing in non-practice. Morality, patience, diligence, and meditation are also the same. The emptiness of the conduct of those who possess wisdom is the emptiness of the conduct of those who have shallow wisdom. Equal conduct is called practicing in non-practice. Naga Lord, furthermore, the emptiness of the conduct of those who practice attachment is the emptiness of the conduct of those who are free from attachment. Equal conduct is called practicing in non-practice. The conduct of those who practice hatred and the conduct of those who practice ignorance are also the same. The emptiness of the conduct of those who practice equality is the emptiness of the conduct of those who are without afflictions. Equal conduct is called practicing in non-practice. Naga Lord, furthermore, the eighty-four thousand practices and the eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma that the Tathagata has spoken of, the emptiness of the conduct of those eighty-four thousand practices is the conduct of the noble ones who are completely liberated.

which is emptiness. Acting equally, this is called acting in non-action. Furthermore, Dragon Lord, when a Bodhisattva practices conduct, he acts with non-action in that conduct. When practicing conduct, he does not truly see that conduct, and when there is no manifest attachment, he does not discriminate and does not become conceited. Therefore, it is called acting in non-action. Said: Manjushri, why is a Bodhisattva called acting in non-action? Said: Dragon Lord, from the time a Bodhisattva first generates the mind of enlightenment until the essence of enlightenment, he practices virtuous conduct, as well as the conduct of non-arising, the conduct of no-thingness, as well as the conduct of non-grasping, the conduct of no-alaya, the conduct of no-afflictions, the conduct of no-self-nature, the conduct of no-arising, the conduct of no-flowing, the conduct of no-abiding, as well as the true conduct, and the conduct of rituals. A Bodhisattva who has faith in such conduct is acting in the conduct of non-action. When a Bodhisattva becomes acting in the conduct of non-arising, he follows the signless and is liberated from the non-flowing by faith in wisdom. Even after liberation, he does not transcend the edge of duality, and the edge of truth also becomes manifest, but it is not to manifest that edge of truth. Therefore, the Bodhisattva greatly obtains forbearance in the Dharma of non-arising. Then, the Dragon King Anavatapta again said to Manjushri, who had become a youth: Manjushri, how does one obtain forbearance in the Dharma of non-arising? Said: To obtain forbearance in the non-arising of form is called greatly obtaining forbearance in non-arising. Likewise, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, to obtain forbearance in non-arising is called greatly obtaining forbearance in non-arising. Even all dharmas, to obtain forbearance in non-arising is called greatly obtaining forbearance in non-arising. Dragon Lord, furthermore, the Bodhisattva who has greatly obtained forbearance in non-arising, he can greatly obtain forbearance.

E! That is called following-along. Because of thoroughly obtaining it, it is truly seen that all sentient beings have thoroughly obtained forbearance. It is also truly seen that following-along is unborn. It is also truly seen that all sentient beings are without self-nature. It is also truly seen that all sentient beings are unborn. It is also truly seen that all sentient beings are of that nature. Other than equality itself, even the subtlest dharma is not truly seen. That forbearance is also momentary. Why is it momentary? From the eye and form, and eye consciousness, up to the mind and dharma, and mind consciousness. Just as the eye and so on are momentary, so too is the forbearance of the previous end momentary, and the forbearance of the later end and the present arising is also momentary. Just as the forbearance of the three times is momentary, so too are all sentient beings momentary. Why is it momentary? Because the afflictions of desire, hatred, and ignorance are all momentary. Just as all sentient beings are momentary, so too are the afflictions that arise from perversion momentary. Therefore, a Bodhisattva who possesses wisdom and has thoroughly obtained forbearance in the unborn truly sees that all sentient beings are close to liberation. What is the reason for this? Because that Bodhisattva thinks thus: Just as my afflictions are momentary and how they are accumulated, so too are the afflictions of all sentient beings momentary. Thus they are accumulated. For liberation, those afflictions have no root, no power. If they were not thoroughly liberated, then no one would pass into nirvana. Because they are thoroughly liberated, they abide in the nature of liberation. Therefore, a Bodhisattva who possesses wisdom has no weariness in fully ripening sentient beings. What is the reason for this? Because all dharmas are without bondage, and are truly seen to be naturally liberated. He thinks thus: Sentient beings
