用金子做的，一個是用毗琉璃做的，一個是用紅色的珍珠做的，用一切珍寶裝飾，陳設著美麗悅意的東西。然後，世尊以這樣的加持力加持，使得任何人都無法用眼睛看到大海的水聚，水也不會傷害眾生。世尊的身體也發出光芒，以那光芒照亮大海，乃至照亮三千大千世界的世間界。凡是居住在大海中的眾生，僅僅被那光芒觸及，就生起慈愛之心、饒益之心、柔軟之心和安樂之心，從此以後，誰也不會互相損害或加害，他們全都將彼此視為父母。欲界天和色界天的天子們，也為了聽法和觀看龍王大海處的莊嚴，而跟隨著世尊。然後，世尊與菩薩們、大聲聞們、帝釋天、梵天和護世神等天、龍、夜叉、乾闥婆、阿修羅、迦樓羅、緊那羅、摩睺羅伽以及人與非人，從令人愉悅的歡喜園，也就是令人心曠神怡的瞻波迦園林起身，來到龍王大海所陳設的階梯之處降臨，世尊就坐在中央的階梯上。右邊坐著菩薩們，左邊坐著大聲聞們，前面有六十億的帝釋天用右手指示道路，六十億的梵天安住在虛空之中，他們為世尊舉著珍寶傘，六十億的天人安住在世尊的衣襟旁，降下花雨。欲界天的天子們為了供養世尊，彈奏著六十億的琵琶。

Made of gold, one made of beryl, one made of red pearls, adorned with all kinds of precious jewels, beautiful and pleasing things were arranged. Then, the Blessed One blessed the great ocean's mass of water with such a blessing that no one could see it with their eyes, and the water would not harm sentient beings. From the Blessed One's body also emanated light, illuminating the great ocean with that light, even illuminating the realm of the three-thousand great-thousand world system. Whatever sentient beings lived in the great ocean, merely touched by that light, developed a mind of loving-kindness, a mind of benefit, a mind of gentleness, and a mind of happiness. From then on, no one would harm or injure each other, and they would all regard each other as parents. The sons of gods in the desire realm and the form realm also followed the Blessed One, desiring to hear the Dharma and to see the splendor of the dragon king's ocean abode. Then, the Blessed One, together with the Bodhisattvas, the great Shravakas, Indra, Brahma, and the world-protectors, such as gods, dragons, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, and humans and non-humans, arose from the delightful grove, the Champaka grove that was pleasing to the mind, and descended to the place where the dragon king Ocean had arranged the steps of the staircase. The Blessed One sat on the central staircase. On the right side sat the Bodhisattvas, and on the left side sat the great Shravakas. In front, sixty billion Indras pointed the way with their right hands. Sixty billion Brahmas resided in the middle of the sky, holding jeweled umbrellas for the Blessed One. Sixty billion gods resided by the Blessed One's robe, showering down a rain of flowers. The sons of gods in the desire realm played sixty billion lutes in order to make offerings to the Blessed One.

Thus it is done. Sixty million daughters of gods sprinkle the remains of the Blessed One with scented water. Sixty million daughters of nagas dwell in the middle of the sky, hanging strings of pearls that cover the upper body. Sixty million non-humans praise the Blessed One by reciting verses. Sixty million gandharvas hang garlands of flowers in front of the Blessed One. Sixty million asuras cover the Blessed One with thousands of various colored silk ornaments. The naga king Anavatapta, with a retinue of a hundred million, also dwells in the middle of the sky, making offerings to the Blessed One with flowers, incense, powders, unguents, garments, umbrellas, victory banners, all kinds of flags, cymbals, songs, percussion instruments, and all the splendor of the gods. Thus, sixty thousand naga kings engage in the work of making offerings to the Blessed One. Similarly, from the Buddhafield of the Tathagata Amitayus, the world Sukhavati, the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva Mahasthamaprapta, and many retinues of bodhisattvas, millions of kotis, as well as the naga king Sagara, came to perform the work of making offerings to the Blessed One. They also made offerings to the Blessed One in such a way that the previous offerings were obscured and invisible. Similarly, from the Buddhafield of the Tathagata Durdharsha Buddha, the world Radiant One, the bodhisattva Light Crest and Light Glory came. From the Buddha's field, the world called Unblinking, came two Bodhisattvas, named Tamer and Master of All Dharmas. O Blessed One, from the Buddha-field of the Tathagata All-Illuminating Buddha, the world called Luminous, came two Bodhisattvas, named Jewel Mandala and Jewel Tala. O Blessed One, from the Buddha-field of the Tathagata Jewel Glory Buddha, the world called Essence of Joy, came two Bodhisattvas, named Seeing is Meaningful and Completely Overpowering is Meaningful. O Blessed One, from the Buddha-field of the Tathagata All-Seeing Buddha, the world called All-Seeing, came two Bodhisattvas, named Cloud King and Dharma King. O Blessed One, from the Buddha-field of the Tathagata World Sovereign King Buddha, the world called Joyful to See, came two Bodhisattvas, named Utterly Destroying Mara and Rock-Destroying King. O Blessed One, from the Buddha-field of the Tathagata Jewel Crest Buddha, the world called Possessing Jewels, came two Bodhisattvas, named Wisdom Abiding and Completely Eliminating All Obscurations. Thus, from the ten directions came countless billions of Bodhisattvas to make the Dragon King Sea joyful and to perform the act of offering to the Tathagata. Then, the Blessed One, with the great power of the Buddha, the great miracle of the Buddha, the great transformation of the Buddha, the great arrangement of the Buddha, the great essence of the Buddha, the great play of the Buddha, the great offering of the Buddha, and the great lion's roar of the Buddha, illuminated countless Buddha-fields in the ten directions with light, and made them aware with the voice of the Buddha. Hundreds of thousands of gods played music and sang songs, rained down flowers, and completely pacified the death and birth of all the unfortunate realms, accomplishing happiness and joy for all sentient beings, the Buddha named Great Compassion Steadfast.
