Because the Buddha's eyes are without obstruction, they can see clearly, and he tells sentient beings about the Dharma that arises from past causes and conditions. Lord of the Nagas, you have heard this 'Inexhaustible Treasury Dharani' from many Tathagatas. You have repeatedly heard the meaning of this dharani from countless Buddhas. Therefore, now you have such mindfulness, such wisdom, such realization, such perfect courage, and such wisdom and knowledge. Lord of the Nagas, all those who hear even the name of this 'Inexhaustible Treasury Dharani,' or who hear only a part of the teachings, will surely give rise to inexhaustible courage. Why is that? Because it is in accordance with the causes and conditions of this dharani. Lord of the Nagas, all those who in future times and future lives practice this dharani's protection of definite arising should regard it as being entirely due to the blessings of the Tathagata. Lord of the Nagas, this dharani is the gateway to the eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, the path to entering the eighty-four thousand practices, and the follower of the eighty-four thousand samadhis. The root of the eighty-four thousand dharanis is this very 'Inexhaustible Treasury Dharani.' Lord of the Nagas, the great rain of Dharma that Bodhisattvas pour down in the ten directions without obstruction or hindrance, with the four kinds of perfect knowledge, also arises from being in accordance with the causes and conditions of the 'Inexhaustible Treasury Dharani.' Lord of the Nagas, now I will explain the words of entry, the words of connection, and the words of protection of the gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, and garudas for this 'Inexhaustible Treasury Dharani.' These lords of nagas are the words of the all-encompassing protection and complete protection of the inexhaustible food dharani. If one recites these, the dharma speaker will obtain thirty-two kinds of fearlessness. What are these thirty-two? Because others are completely delighted, one obtains the fearlessness of hearing. Because the words are without error, one obtains the fearlessness of the teachings. Because the words are without repetition, one obtains the fearlessness of definitive meaning. Because the sound is as it is, one obtains the fearlessness of discernment. Because of showing blessings, one obtains the fearlessness of courage. Because of having the wisdom of holding, one obtains the fearlessness of memory. Because of making the wisdom of others completely delighted, one obtains the fearlessness of wisdom. Because of quickly cutting off hesitation, one obtains the fearlessness of realization. Because of not looking at the faces of others, one obtains the fearlessness of wisdom. Because the words change as they are spoken, one obtains the fearlessness of no error. Because the discipline is completely pure, one obtains the fearlessness of no shame.

并且，由于完全清净的忍辱，将获得微笑的容颜无畏；由于不退失正确的誓言，将获得坚固的无畏；由于具有不寻过失之心，将获得堪能接受教诲的无畏；由于令眷属欢喜，将获得言辞庄严的无畏；由于讲述甚深之法，将获得智慧无畏；由于没有骄慢，将获得思择无畏；由于摧伏一切外道，将获得狮子吼无畏；由于不杂染地宣说佛法，将获得无有诽谤的无畏；由于确定修持，将获得教法无有罪过的无畏；由于不被智者呵责，将获得无有责难的无畏；由于不违背经部，将获得结合的无畏；由于按时正确劝勉，将获得正确劝勉的无畏；由于如所说般实行，将获得不颠倒的无畏；由于对众生恭敬，将获得无有我慢的无畏；由于善持先前所闻，将获得言辞和文字无尽的无畏；由于证悟无量之法，将获得解答一切疑问的无畏；由于自身完全清净，将获得令一切眷属欢喜的无畏；由于完全了知一切烦恼，将获得摧伏魔和外道的无畏；由于具有无有嗔恨之心，将获得大慈无畏；由于守护一切众生，将获得大悲无畏； 由于成为法王，将获得佛陀的智慧无畏。龙王，如此一来，菩萨摩诃萨听闻、信奉和修持不尽藏陀罗尼……

And, because of completely purifying patience, one will obtain the fearless smile of countenance; because of not declining from the correct vow, one will obtain steadfast fearlessness; because of having a mind that does not seek faults, one will obtain the fearlessness of being worthy to receive teachings; because of delighting the retinue, one will obtain the fearlessness of dignified speech; because of speaking the profound Dharma, one will obtain wisdom fearlessness; because of being without arrogance, one will obtain the fearlessness of discernment; because of vanquishing all external adversaries, one will obtain the fearlessness of the lion's roar; because of teaching the Dharma without confusion, one will obtain the fearlessness of being without slander; because of establishing practice, one will obtain the fearlessness of the doctrine being without fault; because of not being reproached by the wise, one will obtain the fearlessness of being without reproach; because of not contradicting the Sutras, one will obtain the fearlessness of union; because of correctly urging at the right time, one will obtain the fearlessness of correct urging; because of acting as one has spoken, one will obtain the fearlessness of non-perversion; because of revering sentient beings, one will obtain the fearlessness of being without pride; because of well-holding what was previously heard, one will obtain the fearlessness of inexhaustible words and letters; because of realizing immeasurable Dharma, one will obtain the fearlessness of resolving all questions; because of completely purifying oneself, one will obtain the fearlessness of delighting all the retinue; because of completely knowing all afflictions, one will obtain the fearlessness of vanquishing demons and external adversaries; because of having a mind without animosity, one will obtain great loving-kindness fearlessness; because of protecting all sentient beings, one will obtain great compassion fearlessness; because of becoming the king of Dharma, one will obtain the wisdom fearlessness of the Buddha.
