All sentient beings, as well as those in training, those beyond training, all solitary realizers, all Bodhisattvas, and all Buddhas, may all their roots of virtue be completely dedicated to fully embrace and correctly guide. Pure wisdom is that which, having been sealed with the mudra of the dharani, completely retains and does not waste all that has been spoken by all the Buddhas. Pure means is that which has uninterrupted courage, unattached courage, and by skillfully teaching the Dharma with meaningful teachings, makes all sentient beings truly satisfied. Ocean of Intelligence, furthermore, pure roots of virtue are those that do not forget the mind of enlightenment in lifetime after lifetime. Pure dedication is that which, without forgetting the mind of enlightenment, dedicates all roots of virtue to omniscience itself. Pure wisdom is that which knows that the non-abiding root of virtue is the mind of enlightenment. Pure means is to correctly guide others to realize the equality of the mind of enlightenment. Then, Bodhisattva Ocean of Intelligence requested the Blessed One, saying: According to how I understand the meaning spoken by the Blessed One, Blessed One, I think this: The enlightenment of Bodhisattvas who are skilled in means and whose Prajnaparamita is completely pure is all-pervasive. Blessed One, there is no Dharma that is not their enlightenment. What is the reason for that? Blessed One, realizing all Dharmas as equality is enlightenment. Blessed One, therefore, Bodhisattvas should not have the concept of being far from enlightenment. Whichever Dharma appears among the six sense fields, realizing it as it truly is, is enlightenment. Blessed One, a Bodhisattva who has such faith will attain the purity of skillful means and the purity of Prajnaparamita. 通达般若波罗蜜多清净之体性，如实了知，即是菩提。 智慧海，你亦当如是了知。智慧海，往昔过去无量无数不可思议无比之劫，于星宿劫中，极妙世界，有薄伽梵如来、应供、正等觉，名号为无量光，具足明行足、善逝、世间解、无上士调御丈夫、天人师、佛、薄伽梵出现于世。何以故，彼如来名无量光？ 谓薄伽梵未得一切智，为菩萨时，坐菩提树下，身放如是光芒，其光芒普照十方无量无数过算数之佛土，令其显明。于彼佛土中，诸不退转菩萨及一生补处菩萨，见彼菩萨坐于菩提树下。见已，遥向菩萨散花。以佛之威力，花至菩萨身。其花于极妙世界，化为七人高之花鬘，仅此一事。于彼世界中，诸具大势力、大名声之天及菩萨，见此光已，皆赞叹曰：奇哉！此清净之光，乃如来无量光之光芒也。如是，彼如来之名号遂为无量光。无量光。
English
The very realization of the pure nature of the Perfection of Wisdom, as it is, is enlightenment. Ocean of Intelligence, you should understand it in this way through this aspect as well. Ocean of Intelligence, in the past, in bygone times, in immeasurable, countless, extremely vast, limitless, inconceivable, incomparable eons, at that time, in that era, in the constellation eon, in the world system of Utpala, the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, named Infinite Light Rays, endowed with knowledge and conduct, the Gone to Bliss, Knower of the World, Supreme Guide of Beings to be Tamed, Incomparable, Teacher of Gods and Humans, the Buddha, the Blessed One, appeared in the world. Why is that Tathagata called Infinite Light Rays? Because that Blessed One, not yet having attained omniscience, while still a Bodhisattva, sat at the heart of enlightenment and emitted such light from his body. The light that was emitted illuminated with great clarity the immeasurable, countless, and exceedingly numerous Buddhafields of the ten directions. In those Buddhafields, those Bodhisattvas who were irreversible and those who were stationed as one-birth-away saw that Bodhisattva sitting at the heart of enlightenment. Having seen him, they scattered flowers in the direction of that Bodhisattva. And by the power of the Buddha, they came and fell upon the body of that Bodhisattva. Those flowers in that world system of Utpala remained as a single garland of flowers as tall as seven men. In that world system, those gods who were powerful and renowned, and those Bodhisattvas who were stationed there, having seen that light, exclaimed, "How amazing!
