Furthermore, there is no Dharma that causes it to fully arise. Thus, having known with the wisdom of individual discernment, when one puts on the armor of the Great Vehicle for the sake of ignorant beings, at that time, one does not put on the armor for the sake of clinging to self, nor for the sake of clinging to others. Having put on the armor, one also contemplates how to make this armor of mine meaningful. At that time, one thinks like this: This armor of mine is not put on for the sake of destroying myself, nor is it put on for the sake of destroying beings, life, nourishment, persons, and individuals, but for the sake of abandoning the place upon which beings rely, and which causes them to abide in the view of self, beings, life, nourishment, persons, and individuals. What is that place? It is the perverted view. The aggregates, elements, and sources are the place. Therefore, the mind is perverted, perceiving permanence in impermanence, happiness in suffering, self in non-self, and purity in impurity. In order to fully know these, the Dharma is taught. So, what is full knowledge? It is non-grasping and non-supreme grasping. Whatever is non-grasping does not make supreme grasping. Whatever does not make supreme grasping is without universal ignorance. Therefore, because of the absence of universal ignorance, there is full knowledge. Please tell me, is it the understanding of past, future, or present thoughts? The Blessed One replied: It is not of the past, not of the future, and not of the present. Why is that? Because past thoughts have ceased, future thoughts have not yet come, and present thoughts have no abiding. In the three times, whatever does not perceive thoughts is full knowledge. He is endowed with full knowledge, and thus practices the completely pure conduct of a Bodhisattva. He also fully understands the conduct of all beings. The Bodhisattva, whose wisdom is like the ocean, fully understands the conduct of all beings as long as

When one does not know, until then, the conduct of a Bodhisattva is not a completely pure conduct. When one knows all the behaviors of all sentient beings, then the conduct of a Bodhisattva is a completely pure conduct. Just as one thoroughly knows those behaviors, so does one teach the Dharma. In order to reverse the behaviors of sentient beings as they are, one also closely teaches.
