It will become like that. O Ocean of Wisdom, similarly, when the precious mind of enlightenment can endure training and harm, and ultimately does not become corrupted, then this precious mind of enlightenment, free from all faults, will benefit all sentient beings in this way. O Ocean of Wisdom, what is the training of that precious mind of enlightenment? It is like this: completely purifying the ten virtuous paths of action with the three vows; following loving-kindness, loving and delighting in all sentient beings; following compassion, diligently considering what needs all sentient beings have; following joy, connecting all sentient beings with the Dharma; following equanimity, not harming all sentient beings and always having an upright mind; because of not having deceit and trickery, becoming a genuine thought of benefiting others; when initiating all roots of virtue, adding the superior intention; with a sharp mind, possessing mindfulness and awareness; with a very subdued mind, making the mind workable; being easily satisfied, possessing the ritual of reducing the qualities and resources of training; being easy to support, knowing the rituals of the noble lineage; bowing and greatly respecting the gurus and objects of generosity; without pride, completely abandoning arrogance and disputes; with a determined mind, completely abandoning arrogance even from arrogance; without turbidity, making the mind clear; not praising oneself, entering into self-knowledge; not slandering others, protecting sentient beings; with a medicinal mind, respecting the Dharma; individually experiencing its meaning, striving for the sake of the Dharma; pouring into it, desiring the Dharma; abiding in a place without afflictions, delighting in the Dharma; completely abandoning what is not Dharma, completely seeking the Dharma; always knowing shame and embarrassment, the faith in the Three Jewels never ceasing; believing in the ripening of karma, entering into the activity of contemplating all virtues; being upright, concealing behavior; without arrogance, being gentle; completely seeking tranquility, being free from excitement; with a steadfast mind, being without laziness; being completely unshakeable, the mind being like a mountain.

And, because of being free from subsequent attachment and anger, the mind is like the earth; because of pure thought, the mind is like water; because of no arrogance, the mind is like fire; because of no place, the mind is like wind; because of being extremely stainless, the mind is like the sky; because the conduct of the Buddha is without confusion, therefore, one is devoted to renunciation; because the body is solitary, therefore, one delights in solitary places; because the mind is solitary, therefore, one practices the Dharma; in order to do and truly accomplish it, therefore, one's words are true; in order to wash the body with the mouth facing down, therefore, one acts as one speaks; because one is not driven by afflictions, therefore, one is a hero; because one is extremely without decay, therefore, one truly upholds the precepts; because one sees even the slightest fault as fearful, therefore, the precepts are not relaxed; because one does not wish for rebirth, therefore, the precepts are without flaw; because one solely practices white Dharma, therefore, the precepts are not mixed; in order to train in the limbs of enlightenment, therefore, one relies on a virtuous friend; because the eyes are completely pure, therefore, there is no obstruction to light; because the ears are completely pure, therefore, there is no obstruction to sound; because the nose is completely pure, therefore, there is no obstruction to smell; because the tongue is completely pure, therefore, there is no obstruction to taste; because the body is completely pure, therefore, there is no obstruction to touch; because the mind is completely pure, therefore, there is no obstruction to the Dharma. Ocean of Wisdom, furthermore, the Bodhisattva, because of extremely meditating on unattractiveness, is free from the suffering of desire; because of extremely meditating on loving-kindness, is free from the suffering of hatred; because of extremely examining dependent origination, is free from the suffering of ignorance; because of extremely examining the senses, is free from obscurations; because the power is completely pure, therefore, obscurations are truly removed; because the realm to be born in is completely pure, therefore, all arising is removed; because of truly accomplishing, one is free from desire, hatred, ignorance, fear, and pride; there is no stinginess towards the giving of Dharma; there is no mind of clinging to the giving of material things; because one does not desire inferior vehicles, therefore, it is the mind of enlightenment.
