Then, the monks named Lion and Lion's Forceful Action, restrained themselves with regard to the Dharma and resources related to the aspects of enlightenment, and diligently practiced in solitude, and before long, they generated the five superknowledges. Having obtained these superknowledges, they taught the Dharma in all realms of the world through the power of their own miraculous abilities and aspirations, and through these two means, they fully matured immeasurable and countless sentient beings, and guided them towards the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment. Son of good family, in this way, after eighty-four thousand years had passed, the king named Adorned with Merit went to the place where the Blessed One, the Tathagata Stainless Light, Infinite Light Rays King was. He saw those two boys had gone forth. Having seen them, he felt contempt, thinking: I have served the Tathagata for eighty-four thousand years with all the resources of happiness, but these two boys have gone forth, what have I done that I haven't done? Son of good family, then, the Tathagata Stainless Light, Infinite Light Rays King, knowing the thoughts of the king Adorned with Merit, spoke these words to the Bodhisattva Lion's Forceful Action: Son of good family, show the power of your wisdom, superknowledge, merit, and knowledge, and make all the retinue rejoice! Make all the places of the demons dark! Make the path of enlightenment blaze! Satisfy all sentient beings! Completely defeat the opponents! Make the lamp of Dharma blaze! Pacify all afflictions! Also show the various plays of a Bodhisattva! 諸佛世尊亦隨喜之。種姓之子！如是福德莊嚴之國王，以菩薩獅子力行之神通，見福德與智慧之力，令童子名為勝慧者為王。 以信心從在家而出家，布施乃心之所繫。出家乃心之完全清淨。布施乃身語之障礙。出家乃身語之完全調伏。布施乃大障礙。出家乃諸障礙之寂滅。布施乃草葉。出家乃成就精華與果實。布施乃與我慢相隨且執持。出家乃捨棄一切執持。布施乃不離壞聚見。出家乃完全清淨一切見。布施乃孩童之嬉戲。出家乃調伏、寂靜、具慧之地，如是如是如理修習。以如是之心與如是之念，如是出家，獨處不雜，具正念，精進，安住於寂靜處，不久即生起五神通。種姓之子！彼時彼刻，成為福德莊嚴之國王，汝心莫作如是觀想，以為是另一人。何以故？如來壞劫，彼時彼刻，即轉輪王名為福德莊嚴者。此菩薩虛空藏，彼時彼刻，即名為菩薩獅子力行者。彼最初從虛空藏降下珍寶之雨。自彼時起，經無數百千萬億不可思議劫，未曾從虛空藏停止降下珍寶之雨，未從神通退失。種姓之子！我於彼時彼刻，即名為菩薩獅子者。菩薩慈氏即彼之

Renunciation is the accomplishment of essence and fruit. Generosity is accompanied by my pride and clinging. Renunciation is the abandonment of all clinging. Generosity is not moving from the view of the perishable aggregate. Renunciation is the complete purification of all views. Generosity is the play of children. Renunciation is the place of taming, pacification, and intelligence, thinking thus, thus properly practicing. With such a mind and such a thought, thus renouncing, dwelling alone, unmingled, mindful, diligent, and secluded, before long, he generated the five supernormal knowledges.
