Look! Do not regard it as Dharma. Do not regard it as not Dharma. Do not regard it as true. Do not regard it as not true. Do not regard it as an object of focus. Do not regard it as without an object of focus. Do not regard it as attention. Do not regard it as without attention. Do not regard it as conceptualization. Do not regard it as without conceptualization. Do not regard it as conditioned. Do not regard it as unconditioned. Do not regard it as existing entities. Do not regard it as non-existent entities. Do not regard it as an aggregate. Do not regard it as a substance. Do not regard it as form. Do not regard it as feeling. Do not regard it as perception. Do not regard it as formations. Do not regard it as consciousness. Do not regard it as grasping. Do not regard it as without grasping. The Tathagata is not regarded as being born. Do not regard it as not being born. Having said this, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said this to the son of the naked ascetic, the truth-speaker: Truth-speaker, if the Tathagata does not see in that way, then how do you, noble man, view the Tathagata? He said: Venerable Sharadvatiputra, I do not view the Tathagata as form. Nor do I view the Tathagata as other than form. Nor do I view the Tathagata as for the sake of the destruction of form. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, I do not view the Tathagata as feeling, perception, formations, or consciousness. Nor do I view the Tathagata as other than consciousness. Nor do I view the Tathagata as for the sake of the destruction of consciousness. I do not view the Tathagata as belonging to the world. I do not view the Tathagata as transcending the world. I do not view the Tathagata as distinguished by aggregates. I do not view the Tathagata as distinguished by elements. I do not view the Tathagata as distinguished by sources. The Tathagata is viewed as inexpressible by all paths of speech, and in no way seen, not appearing, without object, without conceptualization, without non-conceptualization, without complete conceptualization, without any elevation, without complete arising, without taking, without abandoning, without elaboration, without being made into a sign, without being not made into a sign, and without action.
