Because of not fully understanding, it will not be destroyed. Manjushri, all dharmas are like this: because of non-objectification, they are equal to nirvana. Manjushri, those words without attachment are words without characteristics. They are words without elaboration. They are words without defilement. They are words without error. They are words without wavering. They are words that cannot be taken away. They cannot be subdued by all opponents. They cannot be subdued by all arrogant ones. This is not for the heretics and opponents. It is not for those who cling to objects, cling to persons, cling to sentient beings, and cling to characteristics. It is not for all sentient beings who engage in actions. Manjushri, those are the words that arise from meaning. Bodhisattva-mahasattvas obtain the power of increasing wisdom through this, and also comprehend all dharmas. Manjushri, for those bodhisattva-mahasattvas who abide and enter in this way, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, will bestow the attainment of fearlessness. Manjushri, for example, the lion king, with a mane, of noble lineage, will not be afraid, fearful, or terrified of all the foxes and quadrupeds that come, and will not even bristle its fur in demonstration. Manjushri, similarly, bodhisattva-mahasattvas, if they have trained in this kind of non-objectification, will not be afraid, fearful, or terrified of all the opponents and wandering ascetics, from those who cling to objects to those who cling to manifest actions. Why is that? Because they will roar the great lion's roar in this way. Manjushri, in this way, bodhisattvas, because they do not abide in all dharmas, will have such differences in qualities. What need is there to mention those who have attained the unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment? The Bhagavan spoke thus, the Sugata spoke thus, and the Teacher spoke again thus: All dharmas do not abide, because their nature is emptiness. They have no place to dwell, therefore they are said to be without abiding. All dharmas are naturally luminous.

They are not things. Where there is no thing, That is the purity of Dharma. Because there is no thing, There is no attachment there. Where there is no attachment, Therefore, it is called Dharani. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention). All Dharmas are like that, There are no words there. The ocean of many Dharmas, That is What is said to be Dharani. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention). Where there is no thing, There is no understanding there, Where there is no understanding of self, Know that it is Dharani itself. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention). All Dharmas are near to peace, By nature, there is no characteristic. Whoever enters that wisdom, He will quickly attain Dharani. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention). All Dharmas are immovable, There is no world there. Where there is no world, That is called Dharani. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention). All Dharmas are unestablished, Where there is no thing, Where nothing is established, That is called Dharani. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention). All Dharmas are ungraspable, There is no beginning to it. Where there is no beginning, Therefore, know it as Dharani. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention). All Dharmas are unborn, They arise entirely from thought. Where there is no thought, Therefore, know it as Dharani. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention). All Dharmas abide in nothingness, It is taught without thought, There is no teaching in this, Therefore, it is called teaching. All Dharmas are unmixed, There is no essence in this. Where there is no object of Dharma, There is no difference there. All Dharmas are unattached, It is like and equal to the sky. The nature of Dharma is like that, What is called Dharani (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention) is also that. All Dharmas have one characteristic, There is not even one in this, There is no difference in nature in this, Therefore, they have one characteristic. All Dharmas have no characteristics, There is no thing there, Where there is no thing, Therefore, it is called Dharani. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention). Because all Dharmas are solitary, There is no essence there, Where no thing is perceived, Know that it is Dharani. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention). All Dharmas do not abide, There is no action of rising either. Where there is no rising, That is called Nirvana. All Dharmas are uncompounded, There are no sentient beings there either. What is the nature of sentient beings, That is Dharani. (གཟུངས།, Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, holding, total retention).
