Without jealousy and transformed, one obtains the happiness of non-humans. The wise completely abandon what is not to be done, and abide in what is to be understood. Which wise ones give the gift of Dharma, and constantly abide in the Dharma of the Great Being. Their pure land will also become completely pure, the Dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment will completely increase, and they will always be close to the essence of enlightenment. These are the benefits of giving Dharmas. Without afflictions and completely abandoning things, thoroughly knowing the self-nature of things, completely liberated from all attachments, attachment to that will never occur. The mind of the wise is extremely subdued, may all sentient beings be happy. They are transformed with loving-kindness and without jealousy, and in this life they will also obtain no small amount of happiness. Young man, the benefits of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abiding in emptiness are these ten. What are the ten? They are: abiding in the conduct of the Tathagatas and meditating without abiding; not desiring rebirth; not considering morality as supreme; not slandering the noble ones; abiding without contradiction; not focusing on things; becoming solitary; not slandering the Buddhas; and upholding the true Dharma. Young man, these ten are the benefits of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abiding in emptiness. To that, it should be said thus: What is the place where the powerful one abides? It is the realm of activity of all the Buddhas. They abide in yoga, and in that place beings do not focus. Not abiding in all the world, and not abandoning the meditation of the noble ones. Having seen the self-nature of Dharma, they also do not desire rebirth. Not considering morality as supreme, and also not abiding in morality. To other undefiled paths, they do not make even a slight slander. They abide without contradiction, and disputes will not arise. The yogi does not focus on things, and always abides in a solitary place. They, even for the sake of life, do not slander the Buddhas. They have become emptiness, and there is no manifest fear of the body. For all the protectors of the world, the enlightenment of the Buddhas is inconceivable. Having respectfully upheld the Dharma, to the Buddha Dharma

Without timidity. Wherever there are many non-Buddhists, that is not the place. The dwelling of the supreme man is where there is no life, no person, no sentient being. The Bodhisattva dwells there. Dwelling there, it never exists. Not dwelling there, one cultivates the bliss of meditation. With wisdom, one discerns the selflessness of beings in all dharmas, and the notion of arising will not occur. One fully understands the nature of all dharmas. Regarding discipline, there is no attachment whatsoever. One does not think of purity through discipline with a distracted mind. One always has faith in the Buddhas. By fully meditating on the emptiness of the nature of all things, contradictions will never arise. Having taken hold of the true Dharma of the Tathagata, one will never slander the guides. Young Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the benefits of diligently abiding inwardly in reality are these ten. What are the ten? They are as follows: a mind without turbidity, abiding in mindfulness, recollecting the Buddhas, having faith in conduct, having no timidity towards wisdom, repaying the kindness of the Buddhas, not abandoning the Dharma, abiding in extreme restraint, obtaining the place of the subdued, and directly realizing the four individual correct knowledges. Young ones, these ten are the benefits of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva diligently abiding inwardly in reality. To that, one should say: His mind is without turbidity. Having completely abandoned all carelessness, he also abides in mindfulness, and is the realm of practice for true abiding. Having heard the conduct of the protector of the world, he has faith in the Buddhas. The wisdom of the Buddhas is inconceivable. There is no doubt about the yoga of wisdom. He repays the kindness of the Buddhas. There is no doubt about the Dharma of the Buddhas. He abides in extreme restraint, and dwells well in the place of the subdued. He obtains it with correct knowledge. Having abandoned gain and respect, he delights in dwelling alone in the forest. It is the realm of practice for true abiding. His mind becomes without turbidity. Also, having completely abandoned all carelessness, the great being always becomes mindful. These are the benefits of diligent meditation. Having remembered the Buddha, the chief of two-legged beings, he has faith in his unsurpassed conduct. There is no doubt about the knowledge of the Tathagata.
