There is no past. There is nothing unsaid. There is no exhaustion. There is nothing unexhausted. There is no use. There is no path. Nor is there the fruit of the path. If there is no separation, then it transcends all separations. There is no thought. There is no mixed understanding. There is no acceptance. There is no abandonment. There is no attainment. Nor is it possible to attain. All truths are also removed. Attachment and hatred and ignorance are also removed. There is no truth. There is no falsehood. There is no permanence. Nor is it impermanent. There is no appearance. Nor is it non-appearance. There is no darkness. Nor is there light. It is not in the mind. There is no self-nature. Since self-nature is empty from the beginning, it is able to subdue demons. Able to subdue the confusion of sorrow. Able to subdue the five aggregates. Able to subdue the twelve sources. Able to subdue the eighteen realms. Proclaiming that there are five aggregates can also subdue. Proclaiming that there are twelve sources can also subdue. Proclaiming that there are eighteen realms can also subdue. Proclaiming that there are sentient beings and proclaiming that there are persons can also subdue. Proclaiming that there is life and proclaiming that there is existence, and proclaiming that there is existence and proclaiming that there is non-existence can also subdue. All faults can be subdued. Shariputra, this illusory Dharma of mine is able to subdue all attachments, and proclaiming that there is Dharma, and not believing or trusting in the true marks of all Dharmas, and all opposition to the Buddha's Dharma. Why is that? Shariputra, some sentient beings cling to self. Cling to person. Proclaiming that there are sentient beings. Proclaiming that there are not. Thinking of permanence. Thinking of existence. Thinking of non-existence, and proclaiming the Dharmas, and proclaiming the name of illusion, and all proclamations oppose the Buddha, and are clear, this is arguing with the Buddha. Shariputra, even clinging to obtaining a little Dharma is arguing with the Buddha. Arguing with the Buddha is entering the path of all faults, is not my disciple. If he is not my disciple, he is arguing with Nirvana, arguing with the Buddha, arguing with the Dharma, arguing with the Sangha. Shariputra, a person who sees in this way, I will not allow him to be ordained, nor will I allow him to take vows. Shariputra, a person who sees in this way, I will not allow him to drink a sip of water, nor will I allow him to receive offerings. Shariputra, not...

Some people, having eliminated the desire for unwholesome things in such a way, in my Dharma, leave their homes and do not seek the Dharma, nor do they think of Nirvana, nor do they contemplate Nirvana, nor are they attached to Nirvana, and ultimately are not frightened or afraid by the Dharma of emptiness. If such people practice diligently in order to preach all Dharmas, what need is there to speak of desire for unwholesome things? Attachment to the view of self, attachment to sentient beings, attachment to persons, attachment to Dharmas—such people, in order to cut off desires, practice and cultivate the signless Samadhi, and do not take signs even in the signless Samadhi. That person understands that the nature of all Dharmas is one, and that is signlessness. Shariputra, such a person, being softened by the Dharma of names, is called the forbearance of the Dharma of gentleness. Having obtained such forbearance of the Dharma of gentleness, one is initially my disciple, and can receive offerings and be prophesied. Why? Shariputra, this Dharma of the true mark of my true reality cannot be entered, cannot be taken, cannot be abandoned, cannot be clung to, cannot be spoken. The path of speech is cut off, there is no joy, no fear, and the mind of desire and joy is also cut off. The conditions do not gather, and there is no path even by being separated from the conditions. The path is cut off. Reaching the place where there is no path to speak of, all words, speaking and walking, and sounds are cut off. That has no form, no color, cannot be taken, cannot be clung to, cannot be practiced, is neither true nor false, neither dark nor light, does not perish, has no contention, does not gather, does not separate, does not move, has no thought, no discrimination, and cannot be obtained. It is without stain, without purity, without name, without sign, and is not a Dharma that can be measured by the mind, nor is it known by the mind. In this Dharma of mine, there is neither birth nor woman, neither god nor Naga, neither Yaksha nor Gandharva, neither Kumbhanda nor Rakshasa, neither annihilation nor permanence, clinging to self.
