ཡང་དུས་གཅིག་ཏུ་མགོན་པོ་བཞི་དང་བཅས་ཏེ་ཞུགས་ལ་བཞེན་པའི་གནས་སུ་ཕྱིན་ནས་ཤིང་གི་འོ་མ་དང་སྤོས་ཆུ་ཅིག་ཅར་དུ་མེའི་སྟེང་དུ་བླུགས་ན་མེ་སྔར་བས་ཆེར་མཆེད་དེ་མ་ཤིའོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ལྷ་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་མཆིང་རྣམ་དང་། གཙང་པོའི་ལྷ་དང་། ཆུ་ཀླུང་གི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་དེ་ལྟར་མེ་མ་ཤི་བ་མཐོང་ནས། དེ་དག་ཀྱང་སོ་སོ་ནས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་བསམས་སོ། །བདག་ཅག་གིས་སྤོས་ཆུ་ཐོགས་ལ་མེ་བསད་དེ། སྐུ་གདུང་མྱུར་དུ་བསྡུས་ཏེ་བདག་ཅག་གི་གནས་སུ་མཆོད་པ་བྱའོ་སྙམ་བསམས་ནས་སོ་སོ་ནས་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་བུམ་པ་སྤོས་ཆུ་ཚད་མེད་པས་བཀང་བ་ཐོགས་ནས་དུས་གཅིག་ཏུ་ཞུགས་ ལ་བཞེན་པའི་གནས་སུ་ལྷགས་ཏེ་ཆུས་བླུགས་ཀྱང་མེ་ཤི་བར་མ་གྱུར་གྱི་ཕྱིར་མཆེད་དོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་མ་འགགས་པས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་བཞི་དང་། རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ལྷ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཁྱེད་སྤོས་ཆུ་ཐོགས་ཏེ་མེ་གསོད་པ་འདི་སྐུ་གདུང་འདོད་པའི་ཕྱིར་མ་ཡིན་ནམ། དེ་དག་གིས་དེ་བཞིན་ནོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །མ་འགགས་པས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་བཞི་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱེད་ནི་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཡང་འདོད་པ་ཆེའོ། །ཁྱེད་གནམ་གྱི་སྟེང་དུ་ལྷའི་ཁམས་སུ་གནས་ཏེ། སྐུ་གདུང་ཀུན་ཁྱོད་འདོད་པ་ལྟར་ལྷའི་ཁམས་སུ་བསྐུར་ན་ས་ལ་གནས་པའི་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་དེར་མཆོད་པ་བྱེད་དུ་འགྲོར་རུང་ངམ། རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ལ་ཡང་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཁྱེད་ནི་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ནང་དང་གཙང་པོའི་ནང་ན་གནས་ཏེ། དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་སྐུ་གདུང་རིལ་གྱིས་ཁྱེད་ལ་བསྐུར་ན་ས་ལ་གནས་པའི་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཇི་ལྟར་དེ་དག་ཏུ་མཆོད་པ་བྱ་བར་འགྱུར་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ཕྱོགས་བཞིའི་མགོན་པོ་བཞི་ཉེས་པ་བཤགས་ནས་ཕྱིར་ལྷའི་གནས་སུ་དོང་ངོ་། །དེའི་ཚེ་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ལྷ་དང་། གཙང་པོའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ཉེས་པ་བཤགས་ནས་འཕགས་པ་ཁྱོད་གསུང་བ་བཞིན་ནོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས་ཕྱིར་གནས་སུ་དོང་ངོ་། །དེའི་ཚེ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་ལྷའི་དབང་ཕྱུག་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་བདུན་གྱི་བུམ་པ་དང་། མཆོད་པའི་ཡོ་བྱད་ཐོགས་ཏེ། ཞུགས་ལ་བཞེན་པའི་གནས་སུ་ལྷགས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་མེ་ཡང་རང་ཤི་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་པུར་སྒྲོམ་དབྱེ་ཞིང་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་ཚེམས་མཆེ་བ་བསླང་བར་སྩལ་པ་ལས་མ་འགགས་པས་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཅི་བྱེད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། བདག་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་ཚེམས་མཆེ་བ་ལྷའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་མཆོད་པ་བྱའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །མ་འགགས

又一次，四位护法与（众人）一同前往荼毗之处，将树汁和香水一起倾倒在火上，火势比以前更大，没有熄灭。当时，海洋之神、龙王海藏，以及河流之神、江河之神等，见到火没有熄灭，他们各自心中想道：我们拿着香水去灭火，迅速收集舍利，在我们各自的住所供养。这样想着，各自拿着装满无量香水的珍宝瓶，同时来到荼毗之处，用水倾倒，但火没有熄灭，反而更加蔓延。当时，不退（菩萨）对四大天王和海洋之神等说道：你们拿着香水灭火，不是因为想要舍利吗？他们回答说：正是如此。不退（菩萨）对四大天王说：你们的贪欲太大了。你们住在天界之上，如果所有的舍利都像你们所希望的那样送到天界，那么住在地上的人们还能在那里进行供养吗？他又对海洋之神们说道：你们住在海洋和河流之中，如果如来佛的整个舍利都交给你们，那么住在地上的人们又如何在那些地方进行供养呢？当时，四方护法忏悔了自己的过错，然后返回天界。当时，海洋之神和河流之神也忏悔了自己的过错，说道：一切如圣者您所说。然后返回各自的住所。当时，帝释天手持七宝瓶和供养的器具，刚一到达荼毗之处，火就自然熄灭了。之后，帝释天打开珍宝舍利匣，想要取出如来佛的牙齿，不退（菩萨）问帝释天：你想要做什么？帝释天回答说：我想要将如来佛的牙齿带到天界供养。不退（菩萨）

Then, at one time, the four protectors, together with (the assembly), went to the place of cremation. When tree sap and scented water were poured onto the fire all at once, the fire blazed even more fiercely than before and did not extinguish. At that time, the ocean god, the dragon king Ocean Treasury, and the river gods, the gods of the rivers, seeing that the fire did not go out, each of them thought to themselves: 'Let us take scented water to extinguish the fire, quickly collect the relics, and make offerings in our respective abodes.' Thinking this way, each of them took precious vases filled with immeasurable scented water and arrived at the place of cremation at the same time. Although they poured water, the fire did not extinguish but instead spread further. At that time, the Irreversible (Bodhisattva) said to the four great kings and the ocean gods, and so on: 'You are taking scented water to extinguish the fire, is it not because you desire the relics?' They replied: 'That is so.' The Irreversible (Bodhisattva) said to the four great kings: 'Your greed is very great. You dwell in the heavenly realms above. If all the relics were sent to the heavenly realms as you wish, then how could the people living on earth go there to make offerings?' He also said to the ocean gods: 'You dwell in the oceans and rivers. If the entire relics of the Thus-Gone One were given to you, then how could the people living on earth make offerings in those places?' At that time, the four protectors of the four directions confessed their faults and then returned to the heavenly realms. At that time, the ocean gods and the river gods also confessed their faults, saying: 'Everything is as you, the noble one, have said.' Then they returned to their respective abodes. At that time, Indra, the lord of the gods, holding a vase of seven precious jewels and the implements of offering, as soon as he arrived at the place of cremation, the fire extinguished itself. Then, Indra opened the precious reliquary and was about to take out the tooth of the Thus-Gone One, when the Irreversible (Bodhisattva) asked Indra: 'What are you doing?' ་པས་སྨྲས་པ། དེ་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་གཅིག་པུས་སྔར་བསླང་དུ་མི་རུང་གིས་འཁོར་རྣམས་ཚོགས་ཏེ་གདོད་བགོ་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་སྔར་རིང་བསྲེལ་ཚེམས་མཆེ་བ་གཅིག་གནང་བས་ན་བདག་མཆིས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་མེ་ཡང་རང་ཤི་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་པུར་སྒྲོམ་ཕྱེ་སྟེ། སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་འགྲམ་ པ་གཡས་པའི་ཚེམས་མཆེ་བ་གོང་མ་གཅིག་ལྷའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་སྤྱན་དྲངས་ནས་མཆོད་རྟེན་བྱས་ཏེ་མཆོད་དོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་སྲིན་པོ་ཤིན་ཏུ་མྱུར་བ་དང་ལྡན་པ་གཉིས་ཤིག་ལུས་མི་སྣང་བར་སྦས་ནས་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱི་ཕྱི་བཞིན་དུ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཚེམས་མཆེ་བ་གཉིས་བརྐུས་ན། འཁོར་མང་པོ་ཀུན་གྱིས་མ་ཚོར་རོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་། བུད་མེད་དང་། འཁོར་མང་པོ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་རིང་བསྲེལ་རྟོད་དུ་ཆ་བ་ལས་མ་འགགས་པས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཁྱེད་རྣམས་རེ་ཞིག་སྡོད་ཅིག །དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་གསུངས་པའི་ལུང་བཞིན་དུ་ལེགས་པར་བགོས་ཏེ་མཆོད་པ་བྱའོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་། བུད་མེད་དང་། འཁོར་མང་པོས་མ་འགགས་པས་སྨྲས་པ་མ་ཐོས་པ་རྣམས་སོ་སོ་ནས་མཚོན་ཤག་ཏི་དང་། མདའ་གཞུ་དང་། རལ་གྲི་དང་། ཞགས་པ་ལ་སོགས་ཏེ་མཚོན་མང་པོ་ཐོགས་ནས་རིང་བསྲེལ་རྟོད་དུ་ཆས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་པུར་སྒྲོམ་ཕྱེ་ན་ཤིང་བལ་དང་། རས་དཀར་པོ་ཡང་ཅང་མ་ཚིག་པར་འཁོར་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མཐོང་ནས་ལྷག་པར་མྱ་ངན་གྱིས་ཡིད་གདུངས་ཏེ་མཆི་མ་བླགས་ནས་ངུས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་ངུས་བཞིན་དུ་མཆོད་དེ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ནས། པུས་མོའི་ལྷ་ང་ས་ལ་བཙུགས་ཏེ་ཚིགས་སུ་བཅད་པ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་དབང་སྒྱུར་ཆེན་པོའི་ཤུགས། །འཇིག་རྟེན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀུན་ལ་དབང་སྒྱུར་མཛད། །ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོ་སྔོན་གྱི་སྨོན་ལམ་གྱིས། །སྲིད་པའི་རྒྱ་མཚོར་སེམས་ཅན་ཡོངས་སུ་སྒྲོལ། །ཚད་མེད་ཡེ་ཤེས་མངོན་པར་ཤེས་པའི་མཐུ། །ཐོགས་པ་མེད་པ་སྲིད་པའི་འཁོར་བར་འཇུག །སྐུ་གཅིག་ལས་ནི་སྐུ་མང་རྣམ་པར་སྟོན། །སྐུ་མང་སྐུ་གཅིག་དེ་བཞིན་ཚད་ཀྱང་མེད། །འདུལ་བར་འགྱུར་བ་བྱིན་གྱི་བརླབས་ཀྱིས་མཐོང་། །རྒྱུ་མེད་པ་ལ་མྱ་ངན་འདའ་བ་སྟོན། །བདག་ཅག་བསོད་ནམས་ཟད་དེ་རྒྱུ་མེད་པས། །དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་ཡོངས་སུ་བཏང་བར་གྱུར། །དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་རིན་ཆེན་པུར་སྒྲོམ་ནི། །གྱད་ཀུན་བཟློག་སྟེ་བཏེག་ཀྱང་བསྐྱོད་མ་ནུས།

说：「那样你一个人先前不能争夺，要集合眷属才能分。」帝释说：「世尊先前赐给一颗舍利牙，所以我一到火也自己熄灭了。」说完，打开珍宝灵榇，将佛陀右边的上颚一颗牙齿迎请到天界，建造佛塔供养。当时，有两个非常迅速的罗刹，将身体隐藏不见，在帝释后面偷走了两颗佛牙，许多眷属都没有察觉。当时，那个城市的男人、女人和许多眷属都因为争夺舍利而没有停止，这样说：「你们暂时住下！要如来所说的那样好好地分了来供养！」当时，那个城市的男人、女人和许多眷属没有停止，没有听到说的人各自拿着武器夏克提、弓箭、刀剑和绳索等等，拿着许多武器去争夺舍利。然后那个城市的人们打开如来的灵榇，眷属们看到木棉和白布一点也没有烧毁，更加悲伤，心中悲痛，流着眼泪哭泣。然后一边哭一边供养，顶礼，膝盖着地，说了这段偈颂：「如来大权力的威力，对一切世间都行使权力。大慈悲以先前的愿力，从有海中救度一切众生。无量智慧现证的力量，毫无阻碍地进入有之轮回。从一个身体显现许多身体，许多身体一个身体，同样也没有限度。能调伏的以加持力看见，对无因的显示寂灭。我们福德已尽，没有原因，被如来完全舍弃了。如来的珍宝灵榇，即使大力士们一起抬起也无法移动。」

said, "You alone cannot contend beforehand. You must gather your retinue and then divide it." Indra said, "The Blessed One previously gave me a relic tooth, so as soon as I arrived, the fire extinguished itself." Having said this, he opened the precious reliquary and brought one of the Buddha's upper right jaw teeth to the world of the gods, where he built a stupa and made offerings. At that time, two very swift Rakshasas hid their bodies invisibly and stole two of the Buddha's teeth behind Indra, without the notice of the many attendants. At that time, the men, women, and many attendants of that city did not stop vying for the relics, and said, "Wait a moment! We will divide it well and make offerings according to the words of the Tathagata!" At that time, the men, women, and many attendants of that city did not stop, and those who did not hear what was said each took up many weapons such as the Shakti weapon, bows and arrows, swords, and ropes, and went to contend for the relics. Then the people of that city opened the Tathagata's reliquary, and the attendants saw that neither the cotton nor the white cloth was burned at all, and they were even more saddened, their hearts grieved, and they wept with tears. Then, while weeping, they made offerings, prostrated, knelt on the ground, and spoke this verse: "The power of the Tathagata's great dominion, exercises dominion over all the worlds. Great compassion, through the aspiration of the past, liberates all beings from the ocean of existence. The power of immeasurable wisdom and manifest knowledge, unimpeded, enters the cycle of existence. From one body, many bodies are manifested, many bodies, one body, likewise without limit. Those who are to be tamed are seen by the power of blessing, showing nirvana to the causeless. We have exhausted our merit, without cause, and have been completely abandoned by the Tathagata. The Tathagata's precious reliquary, even if all the strong men lift it together, cannot be moved."
