it will exist, led by non-virtue to a place of non-virtue. Son of good family, for example, riding an unruly wild horse will face danger and fall into a cliff. Not being able to properly gather the five senses is also like this, completely separated from the virtuous path of Nirvana, and going to a place of non-virtue. For example, riding an untamed and fierce yak, one cannot go to the place one wants to go as one wishes, and will leave the city and go to a solitary place. Not being able to gather the five senses is also like this, separated from the city of Nirvana, and led to the great division of Samsara. Son of good family, for example, a treacherous minister will present all kinds of evil deeds to the king. The treacherous five senses are also like this, always showing sentient beings immeasurable evil deeds and non-virtue. Son of good family, for example, an unruly child does not listen to the teachings of teachers, lamas, and parents, and will do all non-virtuous things. The untamed five senses are also like this, not listening to the skillful teachings of teachers and lamas, and will perfect sins. Son of good family, a bad child, because he cannot gather the five senses, is always harmed by hell beings, animals, and hungry ghosts. Just as fierce people harm good people, son of good family, a bad child, because he cannot gather the five senses, will wander and be distracted in the five realms. For example, just as shepherds cannot take good care of livestock and let them enter the fields, a bad child, because he cannot gather the five senses, always abides in existence and suffers great pain. Son of good family, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva diligently strives for great Nirvana and practices the conduct of the noble ones, in order to obtain all good dharmas, he always subdues the five senses and is very afraid of desire, hatred, ignorance, pride, arrogance, and jealousy. Son of good family, when the five senses are well guarded, the mind will be completely gathered. When the mind is gathered, the five senses can be gathered, for example, when someone guards the king, it is called guarding the country. Guarding the country is called guarding the king, the mind of a Bodhisattva
