It should be done. How does a Bodhisattva know the nature of the Sangha? The so-called Sangha is impermanent, blissful, self, pure, the nature of learning that can be observed, virtuous, and the truth is unreal. Why is that? Because all Shravakas attain the Bodhi of the Buddha. What is the truth? It is the knowledge of the essence of Dharma. Knowing it in this way is called the Bodhisattva knowing the nature of the Sangha. How does a Bodhisattva know the true nature? The so-called true nature is permanence and impermanence, bliss and suffering, self and non-self, purity and impurity, virtue and non-virtue, existence and non-existence, Nirvana and non-Nirvana, liberation and non-liberation, knowledge and ignorance, cessation and non-cessation, awareness and unawareness, cultivation and non-cultivation, seeing and not seeing, this is called the true nature. But it is not Nirvana, Buddha-nature, Tathagata, Dharma, Sangha, and space. This is because the Bodhisattva, by practicing such great Nirvana, can understand the nature of Nirvana, Buddha-nature, Tathagata, Dharma, and Sangha, as well as the differences between truth and the nature of space. Son of good family, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, by practicing the perfect Great Nirvana Sutra, cannot see space. Why is that? Because although Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have five eyes, they cannot see it; only the eye of wisdom can see it. Seeing with the eye of wisdom is also called seeing because nothing can be seen. If it is said that there is nothing called space, then space becomes real. If it becomes real like this, then it is always non-existent, and because it is always non-existent, bliss and purity do not exist either. Son of good family, emptiness is a Dharma of non-existence, and emptiness is called emptiness because of the nature of non-existence. For example

Thus, in the world, the absence of any object is called emptiness. Similarly, the nature of space is also without any object, therefore it is called space. Son of lineage, both the nature of sentient beings and the nature of space lack true nature. Why is that? For example, people say that if existing things are removed, it becomes empty, but space cannot actually be created. Why is that? Because there is nothing. Because there is nothing, it should be understood that emptiness does not exist. If the nature of space could be created, it would become impermanent. Whatever is impermanent cannot be called space. Son of lineage, for example, worldly people say that space is formless, unobstructed, constant, unchanging, and immutable. Therefore, in the world, space is called the fifth element. Son of lineage, in reality, space has no nature. It is called space because of its appearance, but in reality, space does not exist. For example, conventional truth has no nature. Conventional truth is also taught for the sake of sentient beings. Son of lineage, the nature of nirvana is also the same. Although there is no place, it is called nirvana because all Tathagatas use it as a place to cut off afflictions. Nirvana itself is permanent, blissful, self, and pure. Nirvana is bliss, but it is not experiencing bliss, but the supreme, peaceful, and excellent bliss. The Buddha Bhagavan has two kinds of bliss: the bliss of complete peace and the bliss of perfect knowledge. From the perspective of true characteristics, there are three kinds of bliss: the bliss of experience, the bliss of complete peace, and the bliss of perfect knowledge. The nature of the Buddha is one bliss, which is the bliss of attaining unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, Kuntusnawa Thobtsun Dpalgyi Gyalpo, asked the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, it is not reasonable to say that the place where afflictions are cut off is called nirvana. Why is that? The Tathagata

In the past, after the initial manifestation of enlightenment, the Blessed One went to the bank of the River of Joy. At that time, the king of demons, along with his retinue, came before the Blessed One and said: "Blessed One, the time for nirvana has come. Why do you not pass into nirvana?" The Blessed One said to the king of demons: "I do not have attendants who are learned, who uphold the precepts, whose senses are clear, whose wisdom is sharp, and who are capable of benefiting sentient beings. Therefore, I will not pass into nirvana." If the state of severing afflictions is indeed nirvana, then since bodhisattvas have been severing afflictions for immeasurable eons, why are they not called those who have passed into nirvana? If both are states of severance, why is it that the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, possess it, but not the bodhisattvas? If severing afflictions is not nirvana, then why did the Tathagata, when previously known as the Brahmin Kyegra, say, "This body of mine has passed into nirvana"? The Tathagata, at one time, while residing in a vast land, was again entreated by the demon, who said: "Tathagata, you previously said that you would not pass into nirvana because you did not have attendants who were learned, who upheld the precepts, whose wisdom was clear, whose senses were sharp, and who were capable of benefiting sentient beings. Now that there are those who possess such qualities, why do you not pass into nirvana?" At that time, the Tathagata said to the king of demons: "Do not generate the perception of clinging to form. In three months, I will completely pass into nirvana." Blessed One, if the passing away of life is not nirvana, why did the Tathagata say, "In three months, I will completely pass into nirvana"? Blessed One, if severing afflictions is indeed nirvana, then since the Tathagata initially attained perfect enlightenment at the foot of the Bodhi tree, severing afflictions, then that was already nirvana. Why did he say, "In three months, I will completely pass into nirvana"? Blessed
