Furthermore, sons of noble family, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who diligently practice the Great Nirvana, for the sake of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, when liberating sentient beings, completely abandon meaningless words. May that root of virtue be shared with all sentient beings, so that in the Buddha-field, all ground is as level as the palm of the hand, without gravel, pebbles, or thorns, and may all sentient beings' minds become equal. Thus, I make this aspiration. By the power of that aspiration, in the future, when manifest enlightenment is attained, the ground of the realm will be as level as the palm of the hand, without gravel, pebbles, or thorns, and all sentient beings will become equal in mind. Furthermore, sons of noble family, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who diligently practice the Great Nirvana, for the sake of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, when liberating sentient beings, completely abandon meaningless speech. May that root of virtue be shared with all sentient beings, so that in the Buddha-field, all sentient beings are without the suffering of afflictions. Thus, I make this aspiration. By the power of that aspiration, in the future, when manifest enlightenment is attained, all sentient beings dwelling in that realm will be without the suffering of afflictions. Furthermore, sons of noble family, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who diligently practice the Great Nirvana, for the sake of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, when liberating sentient beings, completely abandon the mind of desire and jealousy. May that root of virtue be shared with all sentient beings, so that in the Buddha-field, all sentient beings are free from the harm of afflictions of desire and jealousy, and are without wrong views. Thus, I make this aspiration. By the power of that aspiration, in the future, when manifest enlightenment is attained, all sentient beings of that realm will be free from the harm of the mind of desire and jealousy, and will be without wrong views.

That root of virtue also becomes common to all sentient beings, and they make the aspiration: "May all the sentient beings in that Buddha-field cultivate loving-kindness and great compassion, and attain the state of an only child." By the power of that aspiration, when they manifest enlightenment in the future, may all the sentient beings in the field cultivate loving-kindness and great compassion, and attain the state of an only child. Furthermore, sons of good family, when Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas diligently engage in the Great Nirvana, they completely abandon evil views when liberating sentient beings for the sake of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. That root of virtue also becomes common to all sentient beings, and they make the aspiration: "May all the sentient beings in the Buddha-field attain the Perfection of Wisdom." By the power of that aspiration, when they manifest enlightenment in the future, may all the sentient beings in that world hold the Perfection of Wisdom Dharani. This is what is called the purification of the Buddha-field by the Bodhisattva. So, how does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva completely eliminate the residue? There are three kinds of residue: the residue of the fruit of affliction, the residue of karma, and the residue of existence. Sons of good family, what is the residue of the fruit of affliction? If sentient beings associate with the habitual tendencies of desire, because that fruit ripens, sentient beings will fall into hell. If one in a hundred sentient beings is liberated from hell, they will be reborn as animals, such as pigeons, swallows, swans, parrots, jays, mynas, sparrows, fish, frogs, monkeys, and deer. 又，有两种名称，有名和无名，会变成蛇商。如果出家，也会破坏戒律的第一个根本。这叫做果报残余。此外，善男子，如果众生以执着的心理执着于嗔恨的习气，其果报成熟时，众生会堕入地狱。即使有百分之一的众生从地狱中解脱，也会像这样：看到蛇的毒会中毒，触摸会中毒，吃了会中毒，呼吸会中毒，与具备四种毒的蛇， 狮子，老虎，豺狼，熊，罴，老鼠和鹰等身体中出生。即使获得人身，也会具备十二种恶行。如果出家，也会破坏戒律的第二个根本，这叫做异熟残余。此外，善男子，如果有人造作愚痴之业，其果报成熟后，众生会堕入地狱。即使有百分之一的众生从地狱中解脱，也会转生为旁生，即牦牛，猪，牛，绵羊，水牛，虱子，臭虫，蜜蜂和蚂蚁等的身体。即使获得人身，也会变成瞎子，盲人，哑巴，驼背，诸根不全且不理解佛法。如果出家，诸根也会变得愚钝迟钝，从破坏戒律的根本到第五个根本，这些都会被破坏，这叫做异熟残余。此外，善男子，如果有人造作我慢和骄傲之业，其异熟果报会导致众生堕入地狱。即使有百分之一的众生从地狱中解脱，也会转生为旁生，即身体内的虫子，蛆，驴，狗和马的身体。即使转生为人，也会变成男仆，女仆，穷人，贫困者和乞丐。如果出家，也会被所有众生轻蔑，并破坏戒律的第四个根本，这叫做异熟残余，这些都是烦恼的相。

Even if one in a hundred sentient beings is liberated from hell, it will be like this: seeing the venom of a snake causes poisoning, touching causes poisoning, eating causes poisoning, breathing causes poisoning, and being born in the bodies of snakes endowed with four types of poison, lions, tigers, jackals, bears, brown bears, mice, and hawks, etc. Even if one obtains a human body, they will possess twelve types of evil conduct. If one becomes a renunciate, they will also damage the second root of discipline, which is called the remaining fully ripened result. Furthermore, son of good family, whoever engages in the actions of ignorance, when its fruit ripens, sentient beings will fall into hell. Even if one in a hundred sentient beings is liberated from hell, they will be born in the realm of animals, namely, the bodies of yaks, pigs, cows, sheep, buffaloes, lice, bedbugs, bees, and ants, etc. Even if one obtains a human body, they will be born blind, sightless, mute, hunchbacked, with incomplete faculties, and unable to grasp the Dharma. If one becomes a renunciate, their faculties will be dull and obtuse, and from the destruction of the root of discipline up to the fifth aspect, these will be destroyed, which is called the remaining fully ripened result. Furthermore, son of good family, whoever engages in the actions of pride and arrogance, their fully ripened result will cause sentient beings to fall into hell. Even if one in a hundred sentient beings is liberated from hell, they will be born in the realm of animals, namely, the bodies of worms inside the body, maggots, donkeys, dogs, and horses. Even if born as a human, they will be born as male servants, female servants, the poor, the destitute, and beggars. If one becomes a renunciate, they will be despised by all sentient beings and will damage the fourth root of discipline, which is called the remaining fully ripened result, and these are the aspects of afflictions.
