And, it is called Great Compassion. What is called Loving-kindness and Great Compassion is the nature of permanence. If it is the nature of permanence, and does not arise from causes and conditions, then why did the Thus-Gone One teach about the causes and conditions of light? This light is called Mindfulness of the Buddha. What is called Mindfulness of the Buddha is the nature of permanence. If it is the nature of permanence, and does not arise from causes and conditions, then why did the Thus-Gone One teach about causes and conditions? This light is called the path that is not common to all Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. The path that is not common to Hearers and Solitary Buddhas is the nature of permanence. If it is the nature of permanence, and does not arise from causes and conditions, then why did the Thus-Gone One teach about causes and conditions? O Blessed One, there are also no such things as causes and conditions. Through the causes and conditions of the cessation of ignorance, the lamp of unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment will blaze forth. The Blessed One said: Manjushri, without entering into the ultimate meaning of the extremely profound nature of all phenomena, speak and express yourself in conventional terms. Manjushri replied: O Blessed One, from here to the east, beyond twenty Ganges river sands of world realms, there is a Buddha-field called Immovable. The place where that Buddha resides is twelve thousand yojanas in extent, covered with water. Its ground is entirely made of the seven precious substances, without sand or gravel. It is exceedingly level and smooth, without any undulations or hollows on the ground. The trees are made of gold, silver, beryl, crystal, and the four precious substances. At all times, flowers and fruits flourish abundantly. If any sentient being is touched by the fragrance of the flowers, their body and mind will be exceedingly blissful, just as monks who have entered the third dhyana. Around it are three thousand great rivers. Its water is exceedingly good and possesses eight qualities. If any sentient being bathes in it, they will obtain joy and happiness, just as monks who have entered the second dhyana.

It is like the ground. In that lake, there are flowers such as utpala, lotus, kumuda, pundarika, fragrant flowers, great fragrant flowers, extremely fragrant flowers, ever-blooming flowers, and flowers that cannot be freely picked by all sentient beings. There are many kinds of flowers. On the shore of that lake, there are also many kinds of flowers, such as: Atimuktaka flowers, Champaka flowers, Patala flowers, Pashila flowers, Marika flowers, great Marika flowers, Simarika flowers, Sumana flowers, Yudeka flowers, Dandurika flowers, ever-blooming flowers, and flowers that cannot be freely picked by all sentient beings, and so on. The bottom of that lake is covered with golden sand, and there are terraces like steps made of gold, silver, beryl, and various colors of crystal. Many kinds of birds gather on it. In addition, there are countless birds and fierce beasts such as tigers, jackals, and lions, and they look at each other as if they were only children. In that Buddha-field, there are no evil deeds such as decaying roots, slandering the Dharma, having wrong views, and committing the five heinous crimes. In that Buddha-field, the temperature is moderate, and there is no suffering from hunger and thirst. There is also no desire, hatred, carelessness, or jealousy. There are no sun, moon, day, night, or time. Like the heaven of the Thirty-three (Trayastriṃśat), the people there also have light. There is no arrogance or pride in each other's minds. All are Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, who have attained supernatural powers, possess great virtues, have respectful and respectful thoughts towards the Dharma, are guided by the Mahayana, believe in the Mahayana, love the Mahayana, protect the Mahayana, possess great wisdom, have obtained great Dharani, and are always full of compassion for all sentient beings.
