In the center of the assembly of listeners, looking ahead, Benefiting and lovingly teaching the Dharma, The protector of the world can also be known from the scent. Those sentient beings who hear this Dharma, Those who, having heard, have a joyful mind, Then all the retinues of the Buddhas, The Bodhisattva knows are abiding here. The power of his nose will become like that. He does not yet have the nose of a god. Having become unpolluted, the nose of a god, This will become going before him. Constantly and continuously striving, moreover, a son or daughter of good family who holds, teaches, extensively explains, or writes down this Dharma category, will obtain a tongue faculty endowed with those twelve hundred qualities of the tongue. Whatever tastes are tasted, whatever tastes are felt, and whatever tastes touch the tongue faculty with that kind of tongue faculty, all of that will become the supreme taste of the gods. Just as one will not taste any unpleasant tastes, so will one taste. Any unpleasant taste, if it touches his tongue faculty, will also become the taste of the gods. Having gone into the assembly, whatever Dharma is taught will satisfy the senses of those sentient beings. Joy, complete joy, and supreme joy will arise. His voice will also become deep, pleasing, soft, and melodious, falling into the heart and causing joy, thereby transforming those sentient beings into a state of joy, delight, and satisfaction. Those who hear him teach the Dharma, having heard his gentle, melodious, and pleasing voice, the gods will also think of going to see, pay homage, show respect, and go before him in order to hear the Dharma. The sons and daughters of the gods will also think of going to see, pay homage, show respect, and go before him in order to hear the Dharma. The sons of Indra, Brahma, and the Brahma host will also think of going to see, pay homage, show respect, and go before him in order to hear the Dharma. The nagas and naga daughters will also think of going to see, pay homage, show respect, and go before him in order to hear the Dharma. The asuras and asura daughters will also think of going to see
