而且清净之后，任何众生发出许多声音，所有众生的声音都听得到，然而他的耳朵却不会闭塞。感官清晰，也知道处所和非处所。耳朵的感官就是这样普通。暂时对于天界的追求也不用费力。普通的耳朵就是这样。无论谁受持这个经典，他的功德就会变成那样。经常不断地精进，此外，如果菩萨摩诃萨受持这个法类，或者广为宣说，或者念诵，或者书写，那么他将具有八百种鼻的功德，并且鼻的感官将完全清净。他的鼻的感官完全清净，能够感受到三千大千世界内外各种各样的气味，例如：腐烂的气味、令人愉悦的气味、令人不悦的气味，以及各种不同花朵的气味，例如：鼻花的香味、茉莉花的香味、瞻波迦花的香味和黑姜的气味。也能感受到水中生长的各种花朵的气味，例如：乌巴拉花、莲花、睡莲和白莲花的香味。也能感受到各种花果树木的花朵和果实的气味，例如：檀香、塔玛拉树叶、中国香和沉香的香味。也能感受到成百上千种不同的香聚集在一个地方的所有气味，全部都能知道。也能感受到各种各样的众生气味，例如：大象、马、牛、绵羊、山羊和家畜的气味。也能感受到转生到畜生道的各种众生的身体气味。也能感受到男人和女人的身体气味。也能感受到男孩和女孩的身体气味。也能感受到草、树木、树脂、 药物和远处森林的气味。虽然能够正确地感受到气味，也能够正确地了解气味，但是不会被这些气味所迷惑，也不会被它们所陶醉。即使他住在这里，也能感受到天神的气味，例如：一切聚集

Moreover, after purification, any sentient being who utters many sounds, and hears the sounds of all sentient beings, yet his ears will not be blocked. His senses are clear, and he knows what is and is not the place. The sense of hearing is just that ordinary. For the time being, there is no need to strive for the pursuit of the heavens. The ordinary ear is just like that. Whoever upholds this sutra, his merits will become like that. Constantly and continuously striving, moreover, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva upholds this Dharma category, or widely proclaims it, or recites it, or writes it, then he will have eight hundred merits of the nose, and the sense of the nose will be completely purified. His sense of the nose is completely purified, and he can sense all kinds of smells inside and outside the three thousand great thousand worlds, such as: the smell of decay, the pleasant smell, the unpleasant smell, and the smell of various different flowers, such as: the fragrance of the nose flower, the fragrance of jasmine, the fragrance of champak, and the smell of black ginger. He can also sense the smell of various flowers growing in water, such as: the fragrance of Utpala flower, lotus, water lily, and white lotus. He can also sense the smell of flowers and fruits of various flowering and fruit trees, such as: sandalwood, Tamala leaves, Chinese incense, and the fragrance of agarwood. He can also sense all the smells of hundreds and thousands of different incenses gathered in one place, and he can know them all. He can also sense various smells of sentient beings, such as: the smell of elephants, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and livestock. He can also sense the body odors of various beings who have been reborn into the animal realm. He can also sense the body odors of men and women. He can also sense the body odors of boys and girls. He can also sense the smell of grass, trees, resin, medicine, and distant forests. Although he can correctly sense the smell and correctly understand the smell, he will not be confused by these smells, nor will he be intoxicated by them.
