For example, treasures of earth, gold, andanda nila gems, huge motonga gems, starlight gems, and water crystals, each extending a thousand yojanas in width and filled with many precious gems, may they appear and be given to sentient beings. Just as the power of a hero is manifested in this Buddha-field, so too, in all the continents of each of the Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges in the ten directions' Buddha-fields, in worlds filled with the five degenerations, may they take birth seven times as described before. Thus, I made the aspiration. Son of good family, when I made such an aspiration, billions, trillions, and hundreds of millions of gods from the sky rained down flowers from the sky and gave me the blessing of "Excellent!" All giving, excellent! Excellent! Just as you have made the aspiration, so too will your wish be fulfilled. The gods from the sky named the king "All Giving," and the ordinary people heard it. Having heard it, they thought to themselves, "We should ask him for gifts that are difficult to give. If he gives them, then his name will become 'All Giving.' If he does not give them, then his name will not become 'All Giving.'" Then, those beings began to ask the king Namkha for slaves, consorts, virtuous consorts, sons, and daughters. At that time, King Namkha, with a very joyful mind, gave them away. They also thought, "Giving away consorts is not difficult for him, we should ask King Namkha for limbs and appendages. If he gives them, then his name will become 'All Giving.' If he does not give them, then his name will not become 'All Giving.'" Then, a Brahmin named Star Delight came before King Namkha.

砍断左臂后，又让人砍断右臂并施舍，为了获得无上的信仰，我发愿。当我砍断肢体时，身体浸泡在血中，我发愿：如果这种施舍能使我圆满成就无上正等菩提的愿望，那么我身体的任何一部分都必定能被找到。那时，众生、地方的国王和大臣们都无有慈悲，不是圣者，也不知感恩，说道：这个人头脑混乱，知识浅薄，砍断了所有的肢体，失去了所有的王权，现在要这堆肉有什么用？他们这样说着，就把我带到城外的墓地，丢弃在那里。在那里，肉蝇和长嘴蚊子飞来吸血。狗、狐狸和秃鹫也飞来啄食肉。然后，我以极大的欢喜心发愿：当我舍弃所有的王权，舍弃所有的身体、肢体和器官时，如果我没有丝毫的后悔和愤怒，那么，愿我的这个愿望圆满成就。愿我的身体变成一座肉山，无论哪个众生来吃肉、喝血，都来吃我的肉吧！喝我的血吧！只要众生吃肉、喝血，我的愿力就会使我的身体逐渐生长，身体的高度达到十万由旬，周长达到五千由旬！我这样发愿后，在那里，我用自己的肉和血让众生饱足了一千年。在那里，我舍弃了无数的舌头，被野兽和鸟类吃光。又由于愿力的作用，那些重新长出来的身体，它们的尸体也变得像这座秃鹫尸体山一样大，从而获得了舌头极长的无上名称。

There, flesh flies and long-beaked mosquitoes gathered and sucked blood. Dogs, foxes, and vultures also gathered and pecked at the flesh. Then, with a very joyful mind, I made a vow: When I gave up all the power of kingship, and gave up all my body, limbs, and organs, if I did not have even a moment of regret or anger, then may this hope of mine be completely fulfilled. May this body of mine remain everywhere as a mountain of flesh, and may whatever sentient beings come to eat flesh and drink blood eat my flesh! May they drink my blood! As long as sentient beings eat flesh and drink blood, by the power of my vow, my body will gradually grow, and the height of my body will be a hundred thousand yojanas, and the circumference will be five thousand yojanas! Having made this vow, there, I satisfied sentient beings with my own flesh and blood for a thousand years. There, I gave away countless tongues, and they were completely eaten by wild animals and birds. And again, by the power of my vow, those bodies that were born again, their corpses also became as large as this mountain of vulture corpses, thereby attaining the unsurpassed name of having an extremely long tongue.
