Venerable Bhagavan, what is the cause and what are the conditions for the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, to cause the great earth to quake and a great rain of flowers to fall in the world? After asking this, the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, named Excellent Blossom, said: Sons of good family, from here downwards, beyond two hundred thousand Buddha-fields, there is a world called True Thought. There, a Tathagata named Jewel Essence dwells as the Buddha, the Bhagavan. He teaches the realm of Bodhisattvas and the pure Buddha-fields, explains the realm of aspiration, the realm of Samadhi, and the categories of Dharma explained by the doors of Dharani, and prophesies the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment to hundreds of thousands of Bodhisattvas. There, there is a Bodhisattva Mahasattva endowed with great compassion, who made such a vow and spoke words of completely cultivating great compassion: Explaining that Bodhisattva Mahasattvas are prophesied to attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and in any case, hundreds of thousands of Bodhisattvas make aspirations to accomplish Buddha-fields, and enumerate the qualities of Buddha-fields, as well as the vows to uphold the beings to be tamed. Therefore, he overwhelms that assembly endowed with all things and the Buddha-field of the age of strife, which is afflicted, endowed with the five degenerations, endowed with the obscurations of affliction, committing the five inexpiable sins, associating with the roots of non-virtue, and completely upholding all the beings to be tamed whose minds have decayed. That Bodhisattva Mahasattva is the only one who is endowed with great compassion in all aspects. Therefore, that assembly endowed with all things, and the world including gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas, abandon offering to the Tathagata Jewel Essence and strive to offer to that later one endowed with great compassion, prostrating with five limbs, sitting with palms joined, and praising him.

That one who possesses great compassion, initially generated the mind of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Sons of noble families, you too, in order to behold the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly and completely enlightened precious essence of the Buddha, in order to pay homage, in order to serve and venerate, and in order to listen to the fearless Dharma categories that reveal the door of Samadhi, go to that pure and discerning world realm, and with my words, ask that Bodhisattva Mahasattva who possesses great compassion, saying this: "Tathagata Vairochana, wonderfully blooming flower, noble being, we offer our greetings to you, and also offer these beautiful, stainless moon-colored flowers, and also give our greetings." Noble being, from the time you first generated the mind in this way, to the time you spoke of great compassion, the ten directions' world realms, as many as the motes of dust in the Buddha-fields, have been filled with sound. And the sound of great compassion has also been greatly obtained. Noble being, therefore, you are a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who has correctly entered the Great Vehicle, and for the later Bodhisattvas who possess great compassion, you will also repeatedly erect the victory banner of loving-kindness with the aspiration of speaking of great compassion. Noble being, therefore, in the countless future kalpas, as many as the motes of dust in the Buddha-fields, in the ten directions' world realms, as many as the motes of dust in the Buddha-fields, again and again, your fame and the sound of your renown will be completely filled. Noble being, therefore, you have caused countless billions of beings to correctly uphold, establish, and excellently place the unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, and those who have offered to the Bhagavan have also been placed on the irreversible ground of unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Some of them, from the Bhagavan's side, have taken hold of the qualities of the Buddha-field's array with aspirations, and the beings to be tamed are also completely illuminated by the rays of compassion.
