The Mighty One also said: In times of strife when afflictions are rampant, Those who attain enlightenment rely on you. You eradicate afflictions from their roots, May your steadfast aspirations be fulfilled. The Guardian of Stars also said: Like a treasure of wisdom, With pure aspirations, For the sake of Bodhi, for the sake of sentient beings, You will become medicine and refuge. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the one who truly demonstrates power, weeping, prostrated with five limbs at the feet of the Brahmin, and with palms joined, said: Alas! Lamp of wisdom, sentient beings, Destroying all the diseases of afflictions. You are the one with blazing compassion, Liberating sentient beings from suffering. The retinue endowed with all lineages, along with gods, gandharvas, and humans, also prostrated with five limbs at the feet of the Brahmin, and with palms joined, praised and remained with verses endowed with meaning and various words. Son of the lineage, when the Brahmin Ocean Dust placed his right knee on the ground before the Tathagata Jewel Essence (Ratnagarbha), immediately the great earth shook, and the lands of all ten directions, as many as the dust particles of the Buddha-fields, also shook. It shook greatly, it shook completely greatly, it trembled, it trembled greatly, it trembled completely greatly, it vibrated, it vibrated greatly, it vibrated completely greatly, and it completely became a rumbling sound. Also appearing as teachers, great signs occurred, and rains of various flowers also fell. For example, rains of flowers such as Mandarava, Great Mandarava, and those between Infinite Light also fell. Then, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who were dwelling in front of those Tathagata-Bhagavats in order to listen to the Dharma, having seen the earth quake, asked those Tathagata-Bhagavats thus: "Bhagavat, what is the cause, what is the reason, that the great earth has quaked in the world, and also a great rain of flowers has manifestly fallen?" Thus they inquired. Also, at that time, in the eastern direction, beyond Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of one Ganges River from this Buddha-field, there was a world called 'Adorned with Jewels'. In that Buddha-field 'Adorned with Jewels', a Bhagavat, a Tathagata, an Arhat, a Perfectly Complete Buddha named 'Jewel Moon' was dwelling and teaching, for example, surrounded and attended by immeasurable, countless Bodhisattvas, teaching the Dharma solely with the words of the Great Vehicle. In that Buddha-field, two Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas named 'Jewel Crest' and 'Moon Crest', having joined their palms in the direction of the Tathagata Jewel Moon, supplicated the Tathagata Jewel Moon thus: "Venerable Bhagavat, what is the cause, what is the reason, that the great earth has quaked in the world, and also great rains of flowers have manifestly fallen?" The Tathagata Jewel Moon replied: "Sons of good family, in the western direction, beyond Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of one Ganges River from this Buddha-field, there is a world called 'Rightly Thinking'. In that Buddha-field 'Rightly Thinking', a Tathagata named 'Jewel Essence', a Buddha Bhagavat, is dwelling and teaching."
