May it not be so. There, may the fruit of my actions be completely ripened, reach the ultimate, and become purified. Venerable Bhagavan, after I attain enlightenment, just like a single umbrella, may I emanate as many Buddha bodies as there are pores on my skin, perfectly adorned with the thirty-two marks of a great being and the eighty minor marks. May those Buddha bodies be scattered by me in empty Buddha-fields. May they also be scattered in non-empty ones. May they also be scattered in Buddha-fields endowed with the five degenerations. May even one Buddha body, upon a single umbrella, in those Buddha-fields, teach the Dharma to hundreds of thousands of beings such as those who commit the five heinous crimes, those who abandon the sacred Dharma, those who slander the noble ones, those who associate with non-virtue, those who have truly entered the Hearer Vehicle, those who have truly entered the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, those who have truly entered the Great Vehicle as guides for disciples, those who behave dissolutely, those who have generated the root of downfall, those whose minds are burning, those whose paths of virtue are utterly decayed, those who have entered the solitary wilderness of samsara, and those who have been utterly destroyed by evil paths and have obtained great fear. To those beings who have faith in the Great Powerful One, may I also teach the Dharma in the form of the Great Powerful One. In the Buddha-field of this world, may it also proclaim my praises. There, may beings also strive to make aspirations. May those beings, having heard my praises, also desire to be born in my Buddha-field and make aspirations. Venerable Bhagavan, if I am not present before those beings at the time of their death, or if I do not teach the Dharma, or if I do not make their minds exceedingly joyful, may I not awaken to unsurpassable, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Transform? If I do not obtain a human body in my Buddha-field, may all my Dharma decline, and may I not appear again. May I not be able to accomplish all the deeds of the Buddhas. If any sentient beings who have faith in the Son of No Desire, and those sentient beings die and fall into the lower realms, may I not be able to accomplish all the deeds of the Buddhas. After I attain enlightenment, if all the Buddha-fields are pure, and those sentient beings who commit the deeds of immediate retribution, and those sentient beings who are destroyed by evil paths and suffer great pain, die and are reborn in my Buddha-field, the characteristics of those beings are: the color of those beings becomes like dust, they have the faces of flesh-eaters, they are repulsive, they emit a foul odor, they are immoral in their conduct, they have short lives, they are afflicted by various diseases, and the possessions of those beings are also completely exhausted. For the benefit of those beings, at that time, may I descend from the abode of Tushita to all the four great continents that pervade the world of Saha, and show birth in the womb of a mother. Broadly speaking, may I show the play of youth, and the places of crafts and works, and asceticism, and the subjugation of the Maras, and the manifestation of perfect enlightenment and Buddhahood, and the turning of the wheel of Dharma, and the manifestation of all the deeds of the Buddhas in all the four great continents. May I also show the complete passing into Nirvana and the placing of the relics. After I attain enlightenment, I will be able to teach the Dharma by speaking just one word, and those sentient beings who belong to the Hearer Vehicle, I will teach them the Dharma of the Sutra Pitaka of the Hearer Vehicle. Those sentient beings who are to be tamed by the Solitary Buddhas, I will teach them the Dharma of the Sutra Pitaka of the Solitary Buddha Vehicle. Those sentient beings who belong to the Unsurpassed Great Vehicle, I will teach them the Dharma of the Sutra Pitaka of the Great Vehicle. Those sentient beings who are separated from the Sangha

May the Dharma be taught with words of generosity. Those beings who lack merit and seek the bliss of the heavens, may the Dharma be taught with words of morality. Those who fear each other, whose minds are troubled, and who are filled with intense hatred, may the Dharma be taught with words of loving-kindness. Those who take life, may they be taught with compassion. Those who are overwhelmed by jealousy and stinginess, may the Dharma be taught with words of joy. Those beings whose minds are intoxicated with the pride of form and formlessness, may the Dharma be taught with words of equanimity. Those beings whose minds are intoxicated with the pride of desire for sensual pleasures, may the Dharma be taught with words of non-reality. Those beings whose minds are disturbed by the arrogance of the Mahayana practitioner, may the Dharma be taught with words of mindfulness of breathing in and out. Those of shallow wisdom, may the Dharma be taught with words of dependent origination. Those who have heard little, may the Dharma be taught with words that do not abandon and that retain what is heard without wasting it. Those who are afflicted by evil views, may the Dharma be taught with words of emptiness. Those who are degenerated by pervasive conceptualization, may the Dharma be taught with words of signlessness. Those who have lost the purity of wishlessness, may the Dharma be taught with words of wishlessness. Those whose minds are impure, may the Dharma be taught with words of pure mind. Those who are degenerated by mixed conduct, may the Dharma be taught with words of not forgetting the mind of enlightenment. Those whose exhausted efforts have lost their warmth, may the Dharma be taught with words of non-fabrication. Those who have lost the highly cultivated superior intention, may the Dharma be taught with words of non-reliance. Thus combined, afflictions.
