After countless billions of kalpas have passed, there will be a world realm called "Extremely Beautiful Like a Lord." There, a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha named "Lord of the Voice of the Lord of Lords" will reside. He will live and exist, and will also teach the Dharma to all completely purified beings. In that Buddha-field, there will be no arising of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and there will be no talk of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas there. There, only the teachings of the Mahayana will be spoken. All beings there will be born miraculously. Even the name of woman will not be heard there. Just as the great king has made countless prayers to arrange the qualities of the Buddha-field and has completely taken hold of countless beings to be tamed, all such qualities are present in that Buddha-field. Great king, after that Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha, "Lord of the Voice of the Lord of Lords" passes completely into Nirvana and the sacred Dharma there disappears, after sixty intermediate kalpas have passed, that world realm will become a place called "Mount Meru Light." There, too, a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha named "King of Immeasurable Wisdom and Qualities" will arise. Just as the Buddha-field of the world realm "Extremely Beautiful Like a Lord" of the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha, "Lord of the Voice of the Lord of Lords" is arranged with qualities, so too will the arrangement of qualities of the world realm "Mount Meru Light" of the Tathagata "King of Immeasurable Wisdom and Qualities" become the same as that. The lifespan of that Tathagata "King of Immeasurable Wisdom and Qualities" will be sixty intermediate kalpas. When that Tathagata "King of Immeasurable Wisdom and Qualities" passes completely into Nirvana, his sacred Dharma will remain for sixteen intermediate kalpas. After his sacred Dharma disappears, after a thousand intermediate kalpas have passed, that world realm will become a place called "Extremely Joyful." There, too, a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha will arise.

A Buddha named Buddha Rays (Sangs-rgyas 'od-zer) will appear. He will have the same lifespan as the previous one, and his world will be the same. Similarly, after he has completely passed into nirvana and the holy Dharma has disappeared, that world will become known as Spokes (rTsibs). There, a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha named Jewel Empowerment Voice (Rin-chen dbang-phyug dbyangs) will appear, and the qualities and arrangements of his Buddha-field will be the same. He will live for five intermediate kalpas, living and abiding and also teaching the Dharma. When he passes completely into nirvana, his holy Dharma will remain for seven intermediate kalpas. When the holy Dharma disappears there, it will be arranged as before. In that Buddha-field, countless immeasurable Tathagatas will appear and be seen to pass completely into nirvana, but that world will neither be destroyed nor formed. There, countless kalpas of the future will pass, like the sands of one Ganges River. When countless kalpas, like the sands of two Ganges Rivers, arrive, that world will become known as Sukhavati (bDe-ba-can). Great King, you will awaken there to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, becoming a Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha named Amitayus (Tshe-dpag-med). King Spokes Circumference (rTsibs-kyi mu-khyud) asked: Venerable Lord, from where do those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas come who will awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment in that world before me? The Lord replied: Great King, those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who have come first from those immeasurable, countless, immeasurable, inconceivable worlds of the ten directions to pay homage to me, to honor me, and to listen to the Dharma, and who are sitting before me, these sons of good family have also been prophesied by the Buddhas of the past to attain unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. These are also the Buddhas, Lords, who are appearing now.

Great King, each of these Bodhisattvas has performed superior deeds for many billions of nayutas of Buddhas, accumulated roots of virtue, and cultivated wisdom. Great King, those who will first become Buddhas in that Buddha-field are these sons of good family. King Wheel-Encircling asked: Venerable Lord, when will that Brahmin Ocean-Dust, whom you have prophesied to me and my retinue to attain unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, manifest unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment? The Blessed One replied: Great King, this Brahmin Ocean-Dust is endowed with great compassion. When he roars like a lion, you will also hear it. The King asked: If I can be as prophesied by the Blessed One, and my aspiration can be fulfilled, then, when I prostrate with five limbs at the feet of the Blessed One, may the worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges all shake and quake, and may those Buddhas, Blessed Ones, who dwell and live in those Buddha-fields, also prophesy to me.
