Similarly, the sons of the gods Free from Strife, Contented, Joyful Transformation, and Those Who Control Others' Emanations, also caused the sons of the gods between Those Who Control Others' Emanations to uphold perfect enlightenment. The sons of the gods between Those Who Control Others' Emanations, including men, women, boys, and girls, countless billions of people, also generated the mind of enlightenment for the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, to behold the Blessed One and the Sangha of monks, to prostrate, to make offerings, and to listen to the Dharma from the Blessed One, came to this four continents. Son of good family, then the Brahmin Ocean Dust thought: If my hope for unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment could be fulfilled, just as these between Vaishravana's ten billion sons and the great Brahma's ten billion are in harmony with me, if the Blessed One were also to be in harmony with me, then the suffering feelings of all beings in the three-thousand-great-thousand world realm, including humans, animals, beings in the realm of Yama, and all hell beings, could be completely pacified, and feelings of happiness could arise, and in front of each of them, an emanation of the Buddha would reside, and cause these beings to correctly grasp unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, may such a great miracle be performed! Son of good family, then the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One, Jewel Heart, knowing with his wisdom the thoughts of the Brahmin Ocean Dust, at that time entered into the samadhi called Utter Burning. Thus, when the Blessed One entered into the samadhi of Utter Burning, from each pore of the Blessed One's body, countless rays of light arose, surpassing number, and these rays of light pervaded the three-thousand-great-thousand world realm. Among them, some rays of light blew warm winds for the beings born in the cold hells. For those beings born in the hot hells, cool winds blew, thereby completely pacifying the hunger, thirst, and weariness of the hell beings, and a feeling of happiness arose. In front of each hell being, an emanation of the Buddha appeared, possessing the thirty-two major marks of a great being.

He abides, his body adorned and well-adorned with the eighty excellent marks. Then, those sentient beings in hell who are endowed with happiness think to themselves: "What is the cause that our suffering is completely pacified and happiness arises?" They see the body of the Blessed One, well adorned with the thirty-two marks of a great man and exceedingly beautiful with the eighty excellent marks. Having seen this, they say, "By the power of this great being who is of great compassion, we have become so happy!" Having said this, they rejoice and, having generated happiness, gaze upon the Blessed One with minds of great faith. Then, some die and are born equal to humans. For those sentient beings in hell who are burned by fire, those rays also send forth cool winds. When they touch them, their hunger and thirst are completely quenched, and they are without suffering. Some die from there and are born into a state equal to that of humans.
