That which is good in meaning, good in words, unmixed, completely perfect, completely pure, completely purified. Whatever is completely purified is expressed manifestly with manifest language. From the time of hearing such numerous Dharmas, one becomes completely proficient in recitation, contemplates with the mind, and thoroughly understands with sight. When one has heard so much in this way, one guides, subdues, and firmly establishes other sentient beings with little learning, causing them to correctly grasp much learning. One is endowed with the first Dharma. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva is without jealousy and miserliness, and for other sentient beings who are overwhelmed by jealousy and miserliness, one also guides them to correctly grasp the absence of jealousy and abundant generosity, until they are established. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva is endowed with the second Dharma. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not harm sentient beings, bestows upon them the gift of fearlessness, and possesses the nature of completely liberating sentient beings who have been harmed by various harms from those harms. One is without hypocrisy and flattery, without deceit and cunning, and repeatedly abides in emptiness. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva, endowed with these six Dharmas, obtains this dharani, the dharani that enters the door of the dharani of the aspect of omniscience. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva, endowed with such Dharmas, for seven years, to all these bases of secret mantras of walking and sitting, three times a day, prostrates with the five limbs according to the ritual and extensively, and having placed the mindfulness related to the body nearby, abiding in emptiness, recites the bases of secret mantras of walking and sitting. Having risen, one remembers the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who abide and live from all ten directions, and constantly cultivates the mindfulness of the Buddha's Bodhi. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva, after seven years, obtains this dharani, the dharani that enters the door of the dharani of the aspect of omniscience. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva who obtains this dharani, with the eye of wisdom

In the Buddha-fields of the ten directions, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, one will be able to see all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who dwell and live, and who perform great miracles. One will also obtain such a noble eye of wisdom. And having seen the smiling manifestations of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, one will also obtain eighty-four thousand doors of Dharani, seventy-two thousand doors of Samadhi, and sixty thousand doors of Dharma. A Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who abides in this Dharani, which is the entrance to the door of the Dharani of the aspect of all-knowingness, will also obtain great love and great compassion. Any Bodhisattva who obtains this Dharani, even if he has committed one of the five deeds of immediate retribution, will be completely purified in the next life, and within three lifetimes all those deeds will be completely exhausted, and he will even surpass the tenth Bhumi. If that Bodhisattva has not committed the deeds of immediate retribution, all his other deeds will be completely exhausted, and in the next life he will surpass the tenth Bhumi, and before long he will obtain these thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, and he will also obtain the wisdom of all-knowingness. Son of good family, therefore, this Dharani, which is the entrance to the door of the Dharani of the aspect of all-knowingness, is cherished by the Bodhisattvas-Mahasattvas. If a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva constantly and continuously sees the miraculous manifestations of the smiling Buddhas, the Bhagavat, then by making offerings to the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, in worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, and by listening to the Dharma of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and by obtaining Samadhi, Dharani, and forbearance, and by returning to this Buddha-field, he will also possess such a realm of miraculous power. Son of good family, this entrance to the door of the Dharani of the aspect of all-knowingness of the Bodhisattvas-Mahasattvas is the complete exhaustion of karma.

It is important because it can do this and increase virtue. Sons of good family, those who hear this dharani, which is the door to the dharani of the form of all-knowingness, and the name of the Blessed One, the Tathagata Moon Supreme, will have all their karmic obscurations completely exhausted, and they will surely attain the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Then, some Bodhisattvas said this: Venerable Blessed One, we have heard and obtained this dharani from as many Buddhas as there are sands in the Ganges River during the time when the past Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, lived and resided. Some said: We have heard from twice as many Buddhas as there are sands in the Ganges River. Some said: From three times as many sands. Some said: From four times as many sands. Some said: From five times as many sands. Some said: From six times as many sands. Some said: From seven times as many sands. Some said: From eight times as many sands. Some said: We have heard and obtained in all ways this dharani, which is the door to the dharani of the form of all-knowingness, from nine times as many Buddhas as there are sands in the Ganges River during the time when the past perfectly enlightened Buddhas lived and resided. Bodhisattva Mahasattva Maitreya said: Ten times as many kalpas as there are sands in the Ganges River ago, there was a great kalpa called Universal Deliverance. At that time, there was a Buddha land called Adorned with All Ornaments, where there was a Buddha named King of the Sala Tree, who possessed knowledge and conduct, Sugata, Knower of the World, Tamer of Men, Unsurpassed, Teacher of Gods and Men, the Blessed One Buddha, surrounded by an immeasurable number of billions of monks, and similarly surrounded by countless Bodhisattvas, at that time this dharani, which is the door to the dharani of the form of all-knowingness, was taught. Having heard this dharani from there, I have completely meditated on it.
