曾对无数的百千俱胝那由他众生进行供养承侍。有的布施，有的持戒，有的修持梵行，有的禅修，有的精进，有的修忍辱， 有的成就禅定，有的依止智慧，做了无数种不可思议的各种善业。因此，我现在获得了无上的智慧。种姓之子，如来往昔行菩萨行时，于无数的百千俱胝那由他劫中，断除了妄语、离间语、粗恶语和绮语，依止并做了许多种语之善业。因此，现在获得了极长的舌头。种姓之子，如来阿罗汉正等觉不会说其他的话。之后，世尊在那集会中示现了如何的幻化神通呢？进入名为“于一切三摩地福德皆悉趣入”的三摩地后，从口中伸出舌根，使自己的面轮完全覆盖，从那舌根中放射出六十俱胝的光芒，那光芒以大光明遍布了三千大千世界。如是示现了幻化神通。那光芒遍布了地狱有情、畜生之处、阎罗世界、天人和人类。那光芒触及到那些被熊熊燃烧的火焰焚烧身体的地狱有情，吹起凉风，他们瞬间生起了安乐的感受。每一个地狱有情面前，都出现了由佛陀所化现的，以大丈夫相三十二相庄严其身，八十随形好令形貌极其美妙的身相，那些地狱有情见到后，心生欢喜， 因见到佛陀的喜悦而使身体完全充满，佛

Having paid homage to many hundreds of thousands of billions of beings, some gave alms, some kept the precepts, some practiced celibacy, some meditated, some exerted diligence, some cultivated patience. Some accomplished samadhi, some relied on wisdom, and performed many immeasurable and various virtuous deeds. Therefore, I have now attained unsurpassed wisdom. Son of the family, when the Tathagata previously practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva, in countless hundreds of thousands of billions of kalpas, he abandoned falsehood, slander, harsh speech, and idle talk, and relied on and performed many kinds of virtuous deeds of speech. Therefore, he has now attained an extremely long tongue. Son of the family, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, does not have other words to speak. Then, how did the Bhagavan manifest the magical display in that assembly? Having entered into the samadhi called "Truly Entering into All Samadhi Merits," he extended the root of his tongue from his mouth, completely covering his own face wheel, and from that root of his tongue, he emitted sixty kotis of rays of light, and that light pervaded this three-thousand great-thousand world realm with great illumination. Thus, he manifested the magical display. Those rays of light pervaded the hell beings, the place of animals, the world of Yama, gods, and humans. Those rays of light touched those hell beings whose bodies were being burned by fiercely blazing flames, and cool winds arose and touched them, and they instantly experienced a feeling of happiness. In front of each hell being, there also appeared an emanation of the Buddha, a form whose body was well adorned with the thirty-two marks of a great man, and whose form was extremely beautiful with the eighty minor marks. Having seen the Buddha, they thought, 'Through the power of this being, we have obtained the feeling of happiness.' They developed joy, faith, and reverence for the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan said to them, 'O beings, pay homage to the Buddha! Pay homage to the Dharma! Pay homage to the Sangha!' By uttering these words, you will always possess such happiness. Then, those hell beings joined their palms and said, 'We pay homage to the Buddha! We pay homage to the Dharma! We pay homage to the Sangha!' They uttered these words. Then, those hell beings, through that root of virtue and joyful mind, died and were reborn. Some were born among the gods, and some were born among humans. Those beings who were born in the cold hells, warm winds arose, and they were born among humans as before. Similarly, those pretas whose bodies were burning with hunger and thirst, the flames of hunger and thirst were extinguished by those rays, and they generated a feeling of happiness. In front of each preta, emanations of the Buddha appeared, their bodies well adorned with the thirty-two major marks of a great being and beautifully adorned with the eighty minor marks. When those pretas saw this, their bodies were filled with the happiness of seeing the Buddha, and they thought, 'Through the power of this being, we have obtained the feeling of happiness.' They developed joy, faith, and reverence for the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan said to them, 'Beings, come here! You pay homage to the Buddha! Pay homage to the Dharma! Pay homage to the Sangha!' Utter these words...' Through that root of virtue, they died and were reborn. Some were born among the gods, and some were born among humans. Likewise, they encouraged the animals, and likewise, they encouraged the humans. Countless gods and humans transcended suffering and came to the presence of the Bhagavan to listen to the Dharma, and they bowed their heads at the feet of the Bhagavan and surrounded him.
