These are the signs. Dwelling well in the meditation of selflessness, Dwelling happily in the Dharma of view, In the realm of individual self-awareness, From beginningless time, without stains of fault, Dwelling on the ground of the noble ones, The position of the noble ones, abandoning the worldly, Dwelling in the noble ones who have transcended the world. Transforming well from the ground of mind, Beautiful in the midst of the dense, Lord of humans, lords of humans, all the powerful ones, All repeatedly proclaim, The Vajra Essence is refuge and protector, To whom shall I go for refuge? The Buddha is neither existent nor nonexistent, Burning completely the tree of aggregates, Having conquered the Mara with his armies, Dwelling on the ground of the dense Buddha. To the stainless, peaceful object of knowledge, Go for refuge, friends! Free from concepts and measures, It is not a place for intellect and realization. The yogi dwelling in the midst of the dense, He is also a friend, protector, and refuge. The field for all yogis, The supreme and excellent field is the dense. The yogi is filled with many, Go for refuge to that dense one. Free from all elaborations, Completely abandoning the faults of view, Like the end of a painting, Like a barren woman in a dream, Like a beautiful woman in a dream, The Thubpas (capable ones) see beings. Like the realm of the city of Gandharvas, Like the whirling of a hair-wheel, Like mirages, the thirst of deer, Completely abandoning existence and nonexistence. Like the various forms of illusory bodies, And the emanations of magical creations, These are seen when acting in the world, The Thubpas on ground after ground. Transformed into forms of indivisible multiplicity, Like the fruit of an illusory tree, Like clouds, like smoke, like lightning, The Thubpa sees through yoga. Like the making of pottery and so on, Beings arise with the concept of self. The mind and the consciousness of mind, And the nature of the five dharmas, The activity of the entering consciousness, Is adorned by the two selflessnesses. By the power of beginningless habitual tendencies, The bad places of the mind arise. Like the waves of light, The alaya consciousness dwells on the ground. Just as the wind causes the light, To move back and forth, The waves and so on do not perish, The light also does not turn into nothingness, The possessors of previously nonexistent habitual tendencies, All incline towards the object of entering, The eight consciousnesses, etc.
