The Third Chapter, called Entering the Dense. The Third Chapter, called Entering the Dense. Boundless realms are extremely subtle, Meditative wisdom is the best of beings, Transcending the senses is manifest, Abandoning desire and the senses. Meditation, thought, meditators, This is the way of necessity, The Subduer, yogis, and the wise, Abide in the hearts of all. Separate from the sides of existence and non-existence, The Buddha's side is without stain, Separate from intellect and knowledge, Abandoning measure and senses. Not the realm of mind and consciousness, It is the realm of the liberated, All signs are appearances, Thus the Tathagata is without signs. Making the arrogant without arrogance, Abiding equally without attachment, Neither moving nor unmoving, Abiding on the path without desire. The gods born in the heavenly realms, As well as gandharvas, asuras, and non-humans, The Subduer and the silent ones, Though praised, they never waver. In them there is no wonder or craving, In any being there is no wavering, The yoga of primordial purity, Therefore it is the other shore. By the miraculous conduct of the Buddha, Merely as actions by the gods, Though seen, it is not here or there, Like the sun and moon, they are the same. Those who abide in the realm of yoga, Making the arrogant without arrogance, seen by beings, Various distinct silent ones, By whom and by what are they subdued? To them, such Dharma is taught, By the light of generating yoga, Distinguishing those with the Dharma of yoga, As well as the way of the Victor and the three. Kings or retinues of kings, As well as the affairs of the king's land, Hermitages and fields, Perfection arises from this. Divine substances and the sky, And the pure source of jewels, By the power of the god of gods, It blazes in directions and places. What are the means of the three existences? Various forms by the wise, Whatever actions are done, The spontaneously accomplished fruit of the Buddha. That is the need of beings who hold the sutras, And ascetics with wisdom, As well as the union of laughter and play, And always for the dancers. Descent from Tushita to the world, Seen with women and beings, Seizing, giving, and relating, And those with crowns and in hand.

Dedication. Saints see it everywhere, It is not separated from the dense forest. This place is of the Able One, It is very manifest in all places. Like the haze of those with cataracts, Like the mirage of deer. How the worlds see illusions differently, And in dreams, they see differently. Like a dream, it is seen by the son. The particularly excellent seeing Is like the confusion of yogis. It is the place of the god of gods, In the time of his sons, Misra, Kulanga, Brahma, and Sanananda and Sananda, Sanana the youth, Kapila, and Nico and others also contemplate, They also disturb his place. They cannot see it with yoga. The Able Ones, whether they appear, Have appeared, or are now abiding, They are not in any place, Because they are obscured by the habits of views. The Vajra Essence is shown To those who practice on each ground. By the god of gods, Existing in the dense forest pure land, These Vajra Essences Are placed in equipoise and greatly shown. The yogic place of yogis, How and by what means do they attain? Shapes, colors, and distinctions, Made by the craftsman, Of jewels and particles, Are not things that can be analyzed. Arising is merely dharma, Change is also merely dharma. With the nature of being universally subtle, Reality is analyzed in qualities. Illuminating like a lamp, The causes accomplish what is needed. Characteristics are not found beforehand, Because they are not established as separate from destruction. In the past, in past things, There is neither existence nor arising. Without the conditions, There is nothing that can be analyzed. The conditions are assembled, But things do not exist. Of what will the conditions become the conditions? Things that exist and do not exist do not appear. What does not exist is not existent when it appears. Analyzed by the subtle self, The aggregates, pottery, cloth, and so on, Like the mirage seen by thirsty deer, Like dreams and gandharvas, Texts and jewels with poison. Three hundred well-spoken ones, Entering and all returning dreams, And there is no nirvana. Thereafter, showing the true arrangement of all the Buddha's teachings as they truly are.
