The lord of the earth, possessing countless bracelets, with an unparalleled body, adorned with armlets, crowns, crest jewels, and exceedingly splendid silk garments, arose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, and knelt with his right knee on the ground. He, who does not contradict the three vehicles and the world, for the Dharma of view, with his own individual noble wisdom, abides in the bliss of the realm of awareness, the lord of the Vajra Essence, the great yogi, the teacher of yoga, who shows that all lands and boundaries of lands are not contradictory, spoke thus: "Lord of the Vajra, you teach the Dharma to those with crowns in all lifetimes and among the retinues of kings. Therefore, I beseech you, son of the Victorious One, to show the place of practice that does not rely on others and abides in the Dharma of noble view, so that I and these crowned ones may diligently attain the bliss of the gate of the Buddha-land, the realm that has become manifest to me, and may control the ten forms of the wish-fulfilling body, and transform into the abode of strength, clairvoyance, miraculous feet, and the immeasurable palace of power, abandoning dwelling on the edge of reality, and may various bodies become like the nature of a wish-fulfilling jewel, and may preach various Dharmas to all the retinues of the royal assembly and to those who practice in dense places." The Vajra Essence said: "King, speak, well done! Well done! Especially for those with crowns, Entering the Dharma of no-self, Skillfully showing the dense adornment, The nature of mind is characteristics. If it is said that conceptual thought is the realm, Conceptual thought turns back from meaning, From seeing the conceptual thought of beings, And also from seeing the nature of beings, One will abide in samadhi. Please show the essence of the Dharma, King, please listen to me. Like a mirage in spring, So is the appearance of these beings. From the object to be characterized, characteristics, and causes, Discrimination and non-discrimination, Arising from intelligence and what is to be realized, What is to be realized becomes its difference, There is not one that becomes an antidote, Like the sun and the shadow.

Thus it abides. There is also no such thing as a mindless object. There is neither measure nor measurement, both are absent. Discrimination is merely mind, Discrimination does not discriminate. Knower and knowable are discrimination, If mind-only is like that, Then the knowable is mind-only. But in the constant "only," there is no knower. Mind is the nature of all dharmas, Individuals and those who waver, When they discriminate about the mind, They have abandoned thought and discrimination. Obtaining the eighth bhumi, one becomes pure, The ninth is the realm of meditative absorption, On the tenth, by the Buddhas, Empowerment makes one a victor. In the realm of the victors, even the dharmas Transform into the inexhaustible dharmakaya. Like the exhaustion of space, So are mind and consciousness. It is also not fearless, Constant, peaceful, and stable in bliss. It is unconditioned wisdom, In the dense field, it is extremely beautiful. Consciousness is beyond the three realms, Like various colored jewels. Thus, the Buddha-ground is without thought, Like density, it has become the place of the victors. Like the causes of various pots, As shown by the breaking of a clay pot. The pots are also made of dust, And the dust is like the finest particles. On the conditions of all things, How the causes appear. The causes of the undefiled dharmas, Are likewise the defiled. Just as fire arises from wood, And later causes others to burn. Likewise, the fire of arising wisdom, Later causes others to burn. Having moved from the body of the dwelling, And abandoned by mind and thought, The taste of wisdom without attachment, In the midst of density, it is extremely beautiful. Unborn, with various forms, Not abiding on the earth, That which destroys all views, I take refuge in selflessness. To cut off the streams of continuity, Because it is indestructible and unarisen, That which destroys all views, I take refuge in selflessness. Having become peaceful, peace, not a fabricated peace, Peaceful by peace, it is truth. To purify all views, I take refuge in selflessness. The various grounds that have been made, With selflessness in selflessness. Shattered by the hammer of impermanence, And also by the arrow that reveals, Like a burning fire that consumes, Self-nature turns to peace, that is it. Likewise, with views,
