Absence is the non-arising of conceptualization; non-arising is said to be nirvana. Therein, Great Intellect, nirvana is seeing the true abiding as it is, with the extreme arising of many conceptualizations, mind, and mental factors. As previously cited, the Tathagata, the noble one, what I have realized with my own wisdom is said to be nirvana. Therein, it should be said thus: For the sake of eliminating birth, non-birth is greatly accomplished. The doctrine of causelessness is what children cannot understand. All these are unborn, without things and without permanence. Like dreams, like illusions, like Gandharva cities, there are things without causes. Unborn, without self-nature, and how emptiness is, has also been spoken to me. Apart from aggregates, consciousness cannot know things. Therefore, the unborn is emptiness; I have spoken of no self-nature. Likewise, in each and every aggregate, it is not existent because there is no appearance. Aggregates, like the views of non-Buddhists, are not a change without destruction. Like tangled hair in a dream, like illusions, mirages, Gandharva cities. Just as causeless things appear, the various worlds are likewise. One should debate with the doctrine of causelessness, and also greatly accomplish non-birth. If non-birth is greatly accomplished, then my principle will not be destroyed. If the doctrine of causelessness is proclaimed, how, from what, with what, where does the causeless arise, causing fear to arise in the non-Buddhists. When will conditioned phenomena be seen to arise without a cause, not from a cause, then the view of those who speak of arising and ceasing will be transformed. Is there no birth without things? Is that examining conditions, or is it the name of a thing, or is it meaningless, please tell me. It is not that the absence of things is unborn, nor is it examining conditions, the name of a thing is not that either, the meaningless is not a name either. Hearers and solitary realizers, and those who have gone to the seven grounds, are not the realm of non-Buddhists. That is the nature of non-birth. Rejecting causes and conditions, and refuting agents, and establishing it in mind-only, I have spoken of non-birth. Things do not arise from causes, conceptualization and examination

Having abandoned, liberated from the sides of existence and non-existence, I say that is unborn. The mind is liberated from appearances, also abandoning the two natures, completely becoming the place, I say that is unborn. External objects are neither existent nor non-existent, the mind is also completely ungraspable, completely abandoning all views, that is the nature of the unborn. Likewise, emptiness is without self-nature, all words about it are mere fabrications, emptiness is never empty by emptiness, it is the emptiness of the unborn. From the assembly of conditions, it enters and returns, apart from the assembly, there is neither birth nor cessation. Like the tirthikas think, is it one or different? Things are not different, nor are they anywhere apart from the assembly. Existent and non-existent things do not arise, neither non-existent nor existent are anywhere, therefore, the assembly in other places, enters and returns. This is merely a fabrication, it is a mutually dependent connection, if the conditions are separate from the connection, there is no meaning to be produced. Because there is no production, there is no birth, having abandoned the faults of the tirthikas, I say it is merely a connection, but children do not understand. If apart from the connection, it is said that there are things produced, that is the complete destruction of the connection, know that it is speaking of no cause. If apart from the connection, where does the thing exist? Like a lamp, various substances, will make the connection appear. Apart from the various connections, whatever dharma the unwise discriminate, is unborn, without self-nature, the nature is like space. The dharma-nature attained by the noble ones, is another unborn, that which does not arise, that is the forbearance of the unborn. When all these worlds, think that this is merely a connection, when seeing only the connection, then the mind also abides equally. Ignorance, craving, karma, etc., these connections are internal, wheels, water, trees, mud, etc., seeds, arising, etc. are external, these are not merely connections. If apart from other conditions, someone thinks that some things will arise, then that does not stand in reason and scripture, if what is to be produced is not a thing, then what is the mind's condition?
