If it is considered permanent by reason, then, great wisdom, because of this reason, my made object does not exist, so seeing it as permanent, because it shows no cause, it is permanent. Great wisdom, the permanence of those non-Buddhists, if it has inconceivable cause and self-nature, then because there is no object of cause and self-nature, great wisdom is permanent and inconceivable, like a rabbit's horn. Great wisdom, the permanence of the non-Buddhists, merely becomes a conceptualization of words. What is the reason for that? For example, great wisdom, a rabbit's horn is merely a conceptualization of words because it has no cause and self-nature of its own. Great wisdom, my permanence and inconceivability, because the noble ones each take their own self-awareness as the cause, it is made, and because it abandons the aspects of existence and non-existence, it is permanent, because there is no external object, and it is inferred from permanence, so it is not permanent. Great wisdom, because there is no external object, it is permanent, and because it is inferred from permanence, it is inconceivable, and by what is it permanent, therefore it is permanent, and the cause and self-nature of that inconceivable one are not known. Great wisdom, those are understood by the noble ones each with their own wisdom, so they are transformed from beyond the realm of practice, and cannot be talked about. Great wisdom, furthermore, not understanding the difference between samsara and nirvana, those who are afraid of the fear of conceptualizing the suffering of samsara seek nirvana, great wisdom, all conceptualizations of things do not exist, and the objects of the senses are cut off in the future, so conceptualization thinks it is nirvana. Great wisdom, each with their own self-awareness as the basis, is not established beforehand. Great wisdom, therefore those foolish people say it is the three vehicles, but they do not say that the appearance of mind-only does not exist. Great wisdom, like that, those past, future, and present Tathagatas cannot directly know the realm of practice of their own mind's appearance, great wisdom.

Mahamati, those who are attached to the appearance of external objects as the realm of the mind, will revolve greatly in the wheel of samsaric beings. Mahamati, furthermore, the Tathagatas who appear in the past, future, and present teach that all dharmas are unborn. What is the reason for this? Because, Mahamati, objects that appear from one's own mind do not arise from non-existence, existence, or non-existence, therefore all things are unborn. Mahamati, all dharmas are like rabbit horns, horse horns, donkey horns, and mule horns. Mahamati, because various ordinary people discriminate the completely imputed nature in an unreal way, therefore all things are unborn. Mahamati, the arising of the characteristic of the nature of all things is the realm of the self-realized wisdom of each noble being, and not the nature of the realm of the two-fold discrimination of ordinary people. Mahamati, for the nature of the form of body, enjoyment, and place, the alaya-vijñana exists as the aspect of the grasper and the grasped, and ordinary people have the idea of falling into the two views of arising, abiding, and ceasing, they will discriminate that all things arise from existence and non-existence. Mahamati, you should strive for this. Mahamati, furthermore, there are five kinds of lineages that will be realized. What are the five? They are the lineage that will realize the Sravaka vehicle, the lineage that will realize the Pratyekabuddha vehicle, the lineage that will realize the Tathagata vehicle, the undetermined lineage, and the no-lineage. Mahamati, how should one understand the lineage that will realize the Sravaka vehicle? If someone fully understands the five skandhas, the twelve ayatanas, the eighteen dhatus, and the self-characteristics and general characteristics, when this understanding is shown, the body will bristle, and his mind will enter into the wisdom that is fully familiar with the characteristics, but will not be fully familiar with the characteristics of dependence and non-difference, this is
