Although virtuous dharmas increase through faith, nevertheless, due to attachment to what is not meaningful, one will completely fall away from wisdom. If one completely falls away from wisdom, then one will also completely fall away from the extremely vast and extremely immeasurable virtuous dharmas. Those who, having heard from others that dharma is dharma and that what is not meaningful is meaningful, delight in views, will perceive dharma as dharma and what is not meaningful as meaningful, and therefore will become attached to dharma as dharma and to what is not meaningful as meaningful. Therefore, it should be understood that they will fall away from virtuous dharmas in that way. Those who do not delight in views, having heard from those that the dharmas are without essence, and having heard that the dharmas are without arising, without ceasing, peaceful from the beginning, and naturally completely liberated from suffering, will be frightened and terrified, and will be constantly agitated with fear, and will say, "This is not the Buddha's teaching, this is spoken by a demon." Having recognized it in that way, they will slander those sutras, abandon them, speak unpraiseworthy words, and speak badly. Therefore, they will obtain great poverty and will also be touched by great karmic obscurations. Therefore, those who deceive many ordinary people by obtaining great karmic obscurations, who view all characteristics as non-existent, and who show what is not meaningful as meaningful, I say that they are endowed with great karmic obscurations. For the ultimate and truly noble one, those sentient beings who have not generated roots of virtue, have not purified obscurations, whose continuums have not matured, who do not have much faith, who have not properly accomplished the accumulations of merit and wisdom, who are not upright and of an upright nature, who cannot reason and dispel, and who abide in holding their own views as supreme, then when they hear that dharma, they will not properly understand my intention in speaking as it is, and they will not have faith in that dharma. They will perceive dharma as not dharma, and perceive meaning as not meaning, and being attached to dharma as not dharma, and attached to meaning as not meaning, they will say, "This is not the Buddha's...

It is not said by the Buddha, but it is said that it is spoken by the demon. Having understood in this way, they slander the Sutras, abandon them, speak unpraising words, speak evil words, and also mix impurities. In many ways, they join in order to abandon those Sutras, to make them decline, and to destroy them, and they also regard those who believe in them as enemies. Those people are obscured by the obscurations of karma from the very beginning, and that basis is also obscured again by such obscurations of karma. It is easy to establish the beginning of that obscuration of karma, but it is difficult to establish that it will occur after so many billions of trillions of kalpas. True ultimate, like that, my Dharma and Vinaya are well spoken, very rich, showing that the thought is very pure, and for the well-taught Dharma, such a sequence of devotion of sentient beings also appears. Then, at that time, the Blessed One spoke these verses: Dharmas are without self-nature, dharmas are unborn, dharmas are unceasing, dharmas are inherently peaceful, all dharmas are naturally nirvana, without thought, who would speak? Characteristics are without self-nature, birth is without self-nature, reality is without self-nature, I have said. To this, whichever wise person understands the meaning, he will not go on the path of utter ruin. The path of complete purification is only this one, and purification is also only one, there is no second. Therefore, although this one vehicle is established, the types of sentient beings are not without various kinds. In this realm of sentient beings, whoever is the sole master, there are immeasurable sentient beings to be nirvana. Those who have attained nirvana but do not abandon sentient beings, who have steadfast compassion, those are very rare. The uncontaminated realm of those liberated ones, सूक्ष्म (梵文天城體) sūkṣma (梵文羅馬擬音) subtle, inconceivable, equal and without distinction. Everything is accomplished, suffering and afflictions are abandoned, it is not dualistic, it is blissful and stable. Then, at that time, the Bodhisattva True Ultimate said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One
