Just as the nature of wind, the nature of water, the nature of fire, and the nature of earth, so too should it be said to be the aggregates of form, feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness. Sharadvatiputra, why is it called the aggregate of form? Sharadvatiputra, because the childish ordinary beings are in darkness, they do not understand how and how much the characteristics of form are in the body, so they think, "I am form," "Form is mine." They thus discriminate, and universally know and abide in it. They thus universally know and abide, and being proud of it, they generate intense craving for that thing. Sharadvatiputra, knowing the nature of things is not like that. They do not generate the knowledge that "eyes and colors are non-existent things," but grasping these non-existent dharmas, they cause children to generate attachment. Those children who generate attachment will indulge in things, and their realm of faults will also arise. Therefore, things are non-existent, they are objects of experience. Objects of experience devoid of color, without color, are objects of experience, these mostly become ignorant. These ignorant ones will engage in agriculture, and will also be keen on cultivating with various weapons. Their manifest actions are ignorant. Therefore, the Tathagata, with the equality of things, awakened to the equality of views, and having awakened to it, he manifested the upholding of the correct view. Because that view is equal, it is called the correct view. The view of those who strive correctly and are correctly liberated is the correct entry, so it is called the correct view. Sharadvatiputra, the correct view that I have spoken of cannot be expressed in words, it is difficult to show. Sharadvatiputra, strive for it, and if you strive, you too will become without darkness. Sharadvatiputra, this Dharma aggregate is the Dharma aggregate of the turning of the wheel...

It is called having forty thousand kotis. This is the gate of all conditioned and unconditioned dharmas, and that is also the nature of dharma. When the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha explained this Dharma treasury, seventy-seven kotis of beings arose the stainless, immaculate Dharma eye towards the dharmas. Also, kotis of gods who enjoy desire arose the stainless, immaculate Dharma eye towards the dharmas. Also, immeasurable sentient beings of humankind arose the stainless, immaculate Dharma eye towards the dharmas. As many as there are hundreds of kotis of Jambudvipas, and those Bodhisattvas who dwell in them, they have obtained forbearance of the Dharma of non-arising. Immeasurable sentient beings have generated the mind for unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. Then, the Bhagavan withdrew the manifestation of miraculous power. Then, the fourfold assembly, and that assembly of Brahma, and the assembly of gods who enjoy desire, and also gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas, also saw the world as it exists. Then, at that time, the venerable Mahamoggallana rose from his seat, draped his Dharma robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and with palms joined together, bowed towards the Bhagavan, and said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, how wonderful it is that the Bodhisattva Mahasattva turns the wheel of Dharma as soon as he generates the mind, and is so endowed with great miraculous power! Bhagavan, even though you manifested and placed this world, and also the Bhagavan yourself, in another world, at that time I did not recognize any signs, and I could not even remember the name of the miraculous power, let alone the accomplishment of miraculous power. Bhagavan, I think to myself: 'Oh my, that Bodhisattva is endowed with great miraculous power, how wonderful!' Bhagavan,

Venerable One, I did not even perceive the passage of time, nor did I comprehend how long we were led or guided. Not even for a moment or an instant did I perceive it, nor can I recall even a brief moment. But I thought to myself, 'If the magical power of a Bodhisattva is such, what need is there to mention the Tathagata?' After speaking thus, the Blessed One addressed the venerable Maudgalyayana, saying: "Maudgalyayana, do you think that this world is drawn and completely drawn, or that the Tathagata is led and completely led? Maudgalyayana, you should not view it that way. Maudgalyayana, even to move the fringe of the Tathagata's Dharma robe, there is no other ascetic, brahmin, Shravaka, Pratyekabuddha, or even a god up to a great belly-crawler, whom I have truly seen. How much more so could the Tathagata be lifted up? That is impossible. Maudgalyayana, let alone the world with the gods, Maudgalyayana, having taken complete examination, in the three-thousand great-thousand world-system, as many sentient beings as there are, whether with form or without form, whether with perception or without perception, whether neither with perception nor without perception, as many as can be designated as sentient beings, all of them having obtained a human body, and having obtained a human body, having gone forth, and all those who have gone forth having attained Arhatship and having manifested the six superknowledges, Maudgalyayana, for example, just as you are now, also possessing such power of magical ability, Maudgalyayana, what do you think? Is the gathering of those possessing magical abilities many or few?" He replied, "Blessed One, it is indeed so." Maudgalyayana, those Shravakas, having taken a thousand world-systems with one hand, and also having taken two thousand and three thousand world-systems with one hand, even if they were to grind the world-systems into as many grains of sand as there are in the Ganges River, magical
