愚昧之人若怀傲慢与痴暗，则无有智慧，行与智者相悖之事，是无法医治的。 诸比丘，如是恶魔未听从调御者之语，四支大军力大无比，骁勇善战，令人恐惧，能使毛发竖立，诸天与世人前所未见、前所未闻，变幻莫测，变幻出成百上千俱胝之多的形象，具有足和手被成百上千条蛇缠绕的形象，手持刀剑、弓箭、短矛、巨箭、斧头、三叉戟、杵、木槌、棍棒、绳索、木杖、轮、金刚杵、单尖金刚杵，身着精良铠甲，头、足、手扭曲，头、眼、面燃烧，腹部和手足形状丑陋，面容威严凶猛，极度扭曲且咬牙切齿，因恐惧而龇牙咧嘴，垂下许多厚重宽大的舌头，舌头燃烧且凹凸不平，如瑞德迦（一种恶鬼），双眼如燃火，如充满毒液的黑色毒蛇之眼般赤红，倾泻而下，其中一些呕吐毒蛇，一些如迦楼罗从海中取出一般，将毒蛇置于掌中吞食。一些吞食人肉、鲜血、手足、头颅、肾脏、内脏、呕吐物等，一些呈现青蓝色、紫红色、蓝色、红色、黄色，具有各种令人恐惧的形象。一些眼睛斜视，一些眼睛如井，一些眼睛被挖出，一些眼睛燃烧，一些眼睛突出，丑陋不堪。一些眼睛翻白，燃烧且丑陋。一些手持燃烧的山，趾高气扬地骑在其他山上而来。一些连根拔起树木，在菩萨身旁奔跑而来。一些的耳朵如猪耳，如滤网，如象耳，下垂，如猪耳般。一些没有耳朵。一些幻化出众多骷髅，身体消瘦，大腹便便，鼻子扁平。

Those who are foolish and have arrogance and ignorance have no wisdom, and it is impossible to cure those who act contrary to the wise. O monks, thus the evil demon, not listening to the words of the tamer, the great army of four limbs, immensely powerful, brave in battle, terrifying, capable of making hair stand on end, never before seen or heard by gods and humans, with countless transformations, possessing forms transformed into hundreds of thousands of kotis, possessing the form of feet and hands entwined by hundreds of thousands of snakes, holding swords, bows and arrows, short spears, great arrows, axes, tridents, pestles, mallets, clubs, ropes, staffs, wheels, vajras, single-pointed vajras, wearing excellent armor on their bodies, heads, feet, and hands twisted, heads, eyes, and faces burning, bellies and limbs of unsightly shape, faces with fierce majesty, extremely distorted and gnashing teeth, baring fangs in terror, with many thick and wide tongues hanging down, tongues burning and uneven, like redakas, eyes red like fire and the eyes of black snakes filled with poison, pouring down like rain. Some of them vomit venomous snakes, some, like Garuda taking them from the ocean, place venomous snakes in their palms and devour them. Some devour human flesh, blood, limbs, heads, kidneys, entrails, vomit, and so on. Some appear blue-green, crimson, blue, red, and yellow, having various terrifying forms. Some have squinting eyes, some have eyes like wells, some have eyes gouged out, some have burning eyes, some have bulging eyes, unsightly. Some have rolling eyes, burning and unsightly. Some hold burning mountains, strutting and riding on other mountains as they come. Some uproot trees and run alongside the Bodhisattva. Some have ears like pig ears, like sieves, like elephant ears, drooping, like pig ears. Some have no ears. Some conjure up many skeletons, with emaciated bodies, large bellies, and flat noses.

有的像水壶一样蹲着，有的腿像头盖骨一样，皮肤、肉和血都干枯了。有的被割掉了耳朵、鼻子、手脚、眼睛和头。有些想喝血，互相砍头。有些发出粗哑、难听、可怕和刺耳的声音，发出“呼呼”的声音、“嗤”的声音、“呼噜呼噜”的声音，并且发出喷吐的声音。他们说：“抓住这个沙门乔达摩，他是个木头和教法！”有的说“抓住！”，有的说“打！”，有的说“狠狠地打！”，有的说“捆起来！”，有的说“缝起来！”，有的说“砍断！”，有的说“切碎！”，有的说“刺穿！”，有的说“一次又一次地抓住！”。有些长着狐狸、豺狼、猪、驴、牛、大象、马、骡子、野驴、水牛、兔子、牦牛、犀牛和鹿等各种各样令人恐惧的面孔，使人惊吓，非常丑陋。有些长着狮子、老虎、野猪、熊、猴子、豹子、猫、山羊、绵羊、蛇、猫鼬、鱼、鳄鱼、杀死幼年鳄鱼的怪物、乌龟、乌鸦、秃鹫、猫头鹰和鹏鸟一样的身体。有些形貌丑陋。有些有一个头，有些有两个头乃至一百个、一千个头。有些没有头。有些有一只手乃至一百只、一千只手。有些没有手。有些有一只脚乃至一百只、一千只脚。有些没有脚。有些从耳朵、嘴巴、鼻子、眼睛和肚脐眼里放出毒蛇。有些挥舞着刀剑、弓箭、短矛、三叉戟、战斧、轮子、巨箭、单尖金刚杵、金刚杵、木槌和单尖武器等各种各样的武器，并且跳舞，还恐吓菩萨。

Some are squatting like water pots, some have legs like skullcaps, their skin, flesh, and blood are dried up. Some have their ears, noses, limbs, eyes, and heads cut off. Some, desiring to drink blood, are beheading each other. Some emit harsh, unpleasant, terrifying, and rough sounds, making "hu hu" sounds, "chi" sounds, "hulu hulu" sounds, and spitting sounds. They say, "Seize this Shramana Gautama, he is wood and dharma!" Some say, "Seize!", some say, "Strike!", some say, "Strike hard!", some say, "Bind!", some say, "Sew!", some say, "Cut off!", some say, "Chop!", some say, "Pierce!", some say, "Seize again and again!". Some have various terrifying faces like foxes, jackals, pigs, donkeys, cows, elephants, horses, mules, wild asses, buffaloes, rabbits, yaks, rhinoceroses, and deer, causing fright and being very ugly. Some have bodies like lions, tigers, wild boars, bears, monkeys, leopards, cats, goats, sheep, snakes, mongooses, fish, crocodiles, monsters that kill young crocodiles, turtles, crows, vultures, owls, and garudas. Some have ugly forms. Some have one head, some have two heads up to a hundred or a thousand heads. Some are headless. Some have one hand up to a hundred or a thousand hands. Some are handless. Some have one foot up to a hundred or a thousand feet. Some are footless. Some emit venomous snakes from their ears, mouths, noses, eyes, and navel holes. Some brandish and dance with various weapons such as swords, bows and arrows, short spears, tridents, battle axes, wheels, large arrows, single-pointed vajras, vajras, mallets, and single-pointed weapons, and they threaten the Bodhisattva.

Just as one demon is like that, the armies of hundreds of millions of billions of evil demons belonging to the three thousand great thousand worlds filled the front and above.
