There are two hundred million kotis. In a koti, there are that many extremely small dust particles. Thus, this Jambudvipa has seven thousand yojanas. The western Godaniya has eight thousand yojanas. The eastern Purvavideha has nine thousand yojanas. The northern Uttarakuru has ten thousand yojanas. Thus, including this four-continent world, there are one hundred koti four-continent great worlds, one hundred koti great oceans, one hundred koti circumferences and great circumferences, one hundred koti Mount Merus, the king of mountains, one hundred koti gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, one hundred koti Thirty-three Gods, one hundred koti Aviha, one hundred koti Tushita, one hundred koti Nirmanarati, one hundred koti Paranirmitavasavartin, one hundred koti Brahma retinue, one hundred koti Brahma attendants, one hundred koti Great Brahma, one hundred koti Parittabha, one hundred koti Apramanabha, one hundred koti Abhasvara, one hundred koti Parittasubha, one hundred koti Apramanasubha, one hundred koti Subhakrtsna, one hundred koti Anabhraka, one hundred koti Punyaprasava, one hundred koti Brhatphala, one hundred koti Asanjnasattvas, one hundred koti Atapa, one hundred koti Avrha, one hundred koti Sudrsa, one hundred koti Akanistha gods. These one hundred koti Akanistha heavens are called one three-thousand great-thousand world system. That vast and expansive world has yojanas, hundreds of yojanas, thousands of yojanas, hundreds of kotis of yojanas, hundreds of billions of yojanas, hundreds of trillions of yojanas. Thus, adding them together, until the ultimate limit of yojanas, how many such extremely small dust particles are there? That calculation is beyond numbers and counting; it is called immeasurable. Even more than that, so many extremely small dust particles.

Zarab is in the world realm of the three thousand great thousand worlds. When the Bodhisattva taught this chapter of arithmetic, the great mathematician Sridgrub and all the Shakya assembly were satisfied, pleased, and delighted, and obtained wonderful miracles. They all took off one garment each and offered the remaining garments and ornaments to the Bodhisattva as gifts. Then, the great mathematician Sridgrub spoke these verses: Like this, a hundred kotis is a terabum, similarly, a khrakhrig and a filled lineage are also like that, an unconfused calculation, my wisdom reaches the peak, there is nothing higher than that. Unparalleled wisdom, even more excellent in arithmetic. Also, O Shakyas! How many dust particles, grasses, forests, and medicines, and drops of water are there in the three thousand worlds, if one can calculate it with a number called "Hung," then what is so amazing about five hundred or so sights? Then, hundreds and thousands of gods and humans, saying "Ema, alala," made hundreds and thousands of noises and gazha sounds. From the center of the sky, the sons of the gods also spoke these verses: All sentient beings of the three times, their minds and mental events, perceptions and discriminations, श्रेष्ठ और निकृष्ट as well as the small and vast, all are thoroughly known by a single change of mind. Monks, in this way, all the Shakya youths were overwhelmed, and only the Bodhisattva appeared particularly superior. After that, in jumping, swimming, and racing, the Bodhisattva himself appeared particularly superior, and from the center of the sky, the sons of the gods spoke these verses: With the merits of asceticism, vows, and discipline, and with the patience, taming, love, and strength of countless eons, body and mind strive in every way, please listen to the excellence of that power. You see this excellent sentient being dwelling in this city, however, in a single instant, with jewels, gold, and various offerings, he goes to make offerings to all the immeasurable Victors of the ten directions.

I don't know how it comes. How much does it enter, what is born from it? This is the offering of the incomparable. Thus, that Bodhisattva alone is uniquely superior. Then those Shakyas said: We must also know what is the difference in strength of this young man. Then the Bodhisattva stayed in one direction. Those five hundred Shakya youths also competed in strength at the same time. Thirty-two Shakya youths gathered and prepared to overcome the Bodhisattva. Among them, Delightful and Ananda went before the Bodhisattva in order to overcome the Bodhisattva's strength. As soon as the Bodhisattva's hand touched them, both of them could not bear the Bodhisattva's power and glory, and fell to the ground. After that, the Shakya youth Devadatta, who was arrogant and self-reliant, was proud of his strength and the arrogance of the Shakyas. He surrounded the Bodhisattva with a circle of blue and all-encompassing spectators. He arrogantly surpassed the Bodhisattva's strength. Then the Bodhisattva, without haste or impatience, gracefully lifted the youth Devadatta with his right hand, not with the intention of killing him, but to destroy his arrogance, he lovingly spun him around in the sky and threw him to the ground, but his body was not harmed. Then the Bodhisattva said: It is enough that such harm will occur, let everyone gather together and overcome me. Then all of them were proud and gathered around the Bodhisattva. Then, as soon as they touched the Bodhisattva, they could not bear the Bodhisattva's glory, majesty, and physical strength. With just a touch from the Bodhisattva, they fell to the ground. Then hundreds of thousands of gods and humans shouted "Ema, Alala", and uttered hundreds of thousands of noises and clamors. The sons of the gods who were dwelling in the middle of the sky also visibly showered down a great rain of flowers. In unison, they spoke these verses: As many sentient beings as there are in the ten directions. Those who are like great powerful men. At once surpassing the best of men.
