དེ་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་མཐུས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་བོས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཇི་ཙམ་དུ་བུད་མེད་ཀྱི་ལུས་ནི་སྨད་པ་ལགས་པ་དང་། འདོད་ཆགས་ལ་སྤྱོད་ཅེས་བགྱི་བའི་བར་དུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་གསུངས་པ་ངོ་མཚར་ཆེ་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེ་བས་ཀྱང་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལས་མངོན་པར་འཕགས་པ། སྔོན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔར་གྱུར་པ། འདི་ལྟར་དགའ་ལྡན་གྱི་ལྷའི་རིས་ནས་འཕོས་ཏེ། ཡུམ་གྱི་ལྷུམས་མིའི་ལུས་སུ་གློ་གཡས་ཕྱོགས་སུ་ བརྟེན་ཏེ་བཞུགས་སོ། །ཞེས་བགྱི་བ་འདི་ནི་རབ་ཏུའང་ངོ་མཚར་ཆེ་སྟེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས། ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཁྱོད་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཡོངས་སུ་སྤྱད་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བཀོད་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་གང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་མའི་རུམ་ན་གནས་པའི་ཡོངས་སུ་སྤྱད་པར་གྱུར་པ་མཐོང་བར་འདོད་དམ། གསོལ་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་དེའི་དུས་ནི་ད་ལགས་སོ། དེས་མི་མཇེད་ཀྱི་བདག་པོ་ཚངས་པ། ཚངས་པ་འབུམ་ཕྲག་དྲུག་ཅུ་རྩ་བརྒྱད་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་ཚངས་པའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་ནས་མི་སྣང་བར་གྱུར་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་སྤྱན་སྔར་ཕྱིན་ནས། དེས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ། །ཁོ་བོས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཡོངས་སུ་སྤྱད་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བཀོད་པ་དེ་བླང་གིས་དེའི་བར་དུ་ཁྱེད་འཁོད་ཅིག །དེ་ནས་མི་མཇེད་ཀྱི་བདག་པོ་ཚངས་པ་ བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་སྤྱན་སྔ་ནས་མི་སྣང་བར་གྱུར་ནས་སྐད་ཅིག་དེ་ཉིད་ལ་ཚངས་པའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་ཕྱིན་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་མི་མཇེད་ཀྱི་བདག་པོ་ཚངས་པས་ལྷའི་བུ་ཚངས་པ་བཟང་པོ་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །གྲོགས་པོ་ཁྱོད་སོང་ལ་ཚངས་པའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི་མན་ཆད་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་གྱི་གནས་ཡན་ཆད་དུ་སྒྲ་སྒྲོགས་ཏེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཡོངས་སུ་སྤྱད་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བཀོད་པ་བདག་ཅག་གིས་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་སྤྱན་སྔར་བཀུར་ན་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ནང་ནས་མཐོང་བར་སུ་དགའ་བ་མྱུར་དུ་ཤོག་ཤིག་ཅེས་སྒྲས་གོ་བར་གྱིས་ཤིག །དེ་ནས་མི་མཇེད་ཀྱི་བདག་པོ་ཚངས་པས། ལྷ་བྱེ་བ་ཁྲག་ཁྲིག་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བརྒྱད་ཅུ་རྩ་བཞི་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་ཏུ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཡོངས་སུ་སྤྱད་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བཀོད་པ་བླངས་ཏེ། ཚངས་པའི་གཞལ་མེད་ཁང་ཆེན་པོ་དཔག་ཚད་སུམ་བརྒྱ་པའི་སྟེང་དུ་བཞག་ནས། ལྷ་བྱེ་བ་ཁྲག་ཁྲིག་བརྒྱ་སྟོང་དུ་མས་ཀུན་ནས་བསྐོར་ཏེ། འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་དུ་ཕབ་བོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་འབྲིང་དུ་འདོད་པ་ན་སྤྱོད་པའི་ལྷའི་བུ་འདུས་པ་ཆེན་པོར་གྱུར་ཏེ། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཡོངས་སུ་སྤྱད་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བཀོད་པ་དེ་ཡང་ལྷའི་གོས་དང་། ལྷའི་ཕྲེང་བ་དང་། ལྷའི་སྤོས་དང་། ལྷའི་མེ་ཏོག་དང་། ལྷའི་རོལ་མོའི་དབྱངས་སྒྲ་དང་། ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོའི་དབུས་སུ་འདུག་ནས་རྒྱང་རིང་པོ་ནས་གདོང་ཐལ་མོས་བསྐྱབས་ཏེ་མགོ་བྱོལ་ནས་བལྟས་ཀྱང་མཐོང་བར་མི་ནུས་སོ། །དེ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེ་ན། ལྷའི་ནང་ན་ཚངས་པ་དག་ནི་མཐུ་ཆེ་བ་སྟེ། སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གསུམ་དང་། འཐབ་བྲལ་དང་། དགའ་ལྡན་དང་། འཕྲུལ་དགའ་དང་། གཞན་འཕྲུལ་དབང་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ལྷ་དག་ཀྱང་དེ་དག་གི་དྲུང་ན་དམའ་བ་ཡིན་ན། ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་ལྟ་སྨོས་ཀྱང་ཅི་དགོས། དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེའི་ཚེ། ལྷའི་རོལ་མོ་དབྱངས་སྒྲའི་སྒྲ་དེ་དག་ཞི་བར་མཛད་དོ། །དེ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེ་ན། དེ་ཐོས་པ་ཙམ་གྱིས་འཛམ་བུའི་གླིང་གི་མི་རྣམས་མྱོ་མྱོ་པོར་འགྱུར་ དུ་འོང་བའི་ཕྱིར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་བཞི་ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱི་དྲུང་དུ་ལྷགས་ནས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ལྷའི་དབང་པོ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཡོངས་སུ་སྤྱད་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་བཀོད་པ་འདི་བདག་ཅག་གིས་མཐོང་བར་མི་ནུས་ན་ཇི་ལྟར་བགྱི། 当菩萨在幻化天女的腹中时，便以右侧卧的姿势安住。所有的天神各自都知道，在自己的家中住着菩萨的母亲，而不是其他的母亲。对此有这样的说法：安住于广大的禅定境界，化现出不可思议的化身，使所有的天神心满意足，国王也同样如愿以偿。之后，在眷属中，有些天子这样想：四大天王所属的天神，尚且厌恶并躲避人身的气味，更何况其他的三十三天，或者无诤天，或者兜率天的天子呢？菩萨如何清净，远离污秽，超胜一切世间，珍贵的有情从兜率天降临，住在母亲的腹中，人身的气味并不芬芳啊。之后，以佛陀的威力，具寿阿难对世尊这样说道：世尊，如来所说的女人之身是多么的卑劣，乃至行淫，真是太稀奇了。世尊，更加稀奇的是，超胜一切世间，往昔曾为菩萨，像这样从兜率天降临，在母亲的腹中，依靠右侧而住。世尊，我并不乐意说世尊过去也曾这样做。世尊说道：阿难，你想看菩萨的圆满行持，也就是菩萨住在母亲腹中的圆满行持，名为珍宝庄严吗？回答说：世尊，现在正是时候。善逝，现在正是时候，如果如来能展示菩萨的行持，我将感到非常高兴。之后，世尊显现了那样的相。

When the Bodhisattva was in the womb of the goddess Maya, he remained lying on his right side. All the gods knew individually that in their own homes resided the mother of the Bodhisattva, and no other. To this it is said: Abiding in a great state of samadhi, having emanated inconceivable emanations, he fulfilled the thoughts of all the gods. The king also thus had his wishes fulfilled. Then, from within that assembly, some gods thought: If the gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings are disgusted and shrink from the smell of the human body, what need is there to mention the other gods of the Thirty-three, or the No-Conflict, or the sons of the gods of Tushita? How could the Bodhisattva, pure and free from foul odors, manifestly superior to all the world, a precious being, having transmigrated from the retinue of the gods of Tushita, dwell in the womb of his mother, in a human body with an unpleasant odor? Then, through the power of the Buddha, the venerable Ananda said this to the Blessed One: Blessed One, how wonderful it is that the Tathagata has spoken of the body of a woman as being so base, and even engaging in desire. Blessed One, even more wonderful is that one who is manifestly superior to all the world, who was formerly a Bodhisattva, having transmigrated from the retinue of the gods of Tushita, dwells in the womb of his mother, leaning on his right side. This is indeed most wonderful, Blessed One. I am not pleased to say that the Blessed One has done so in the past. The Blessed One said: Ananda, do you wish to see the precious array of the Bodhisattva's complete conduct, that is, the complete conduct of the Bodhisattva dwelling in his mother's womb? He replied: Blessed One, now is the time. Sugata, now is the time, for I would be delighted if the Tathagata would show that conduct of the Bodhisattva. Then the Blessed One made such a sign.

He bowed to the feet of the Blessed One with his head, circumambulated the Blessed One three times, joined his palms, paid homage to the Blessed One, and sat down on one side. Then, the Blessed One, knowing, spoke to the lord Brahma of the Sahā world: Brahma, did you take the complete conduct of the bodhisattva when I was previously a bodhisattva and stayed in my mother's womb for ten months? If one wishes to prolong it, then the sons of gods who enjoy sensual pleasures gather into a great assembly. The precious adornment enjoyed by the Bodhisattva is also manifested and assembled with divine garments, divine garlands, divine incense, divine flowers, divine musical sounds, and divine enjoyments. And it is surrounded by those who are known as gods with great divine power, just this much. The Lord of the Gods, Indra, sits in the middle of the great ocean, shielding his face with his hand from afar, and even if he peeps, he cannot see it. What is the reason for this? Because among the gods, the Brahma gods have the greatest power. The Thirty-three Gods, the Gods of No Strife, the Gods of Tushita, the Gods of Delightful Transformation, and the Gods of Others' Transformations are also inferior in their presence. What need is there to mention the Lord of the Gods, Indra? Then, at that time, the Blessed One pacified the sounds of the divine musical instruments. What is the reason for this? Because merely hearing these sounds, the people of Jambudvipa would become mad. Then, the Four Great Kings came to the presence of the Lord of the Gods, Indra, and spoke thus: Lord of the Gods, if we cannot see this precious adornment enjoyed by the Bodhisattva, what should we do? He replied to them: Friends, what can I do? I myself cannot see it either. Friends, however, it will be seen when it is offered to the Blessed One. They said: Lord of the Gods, therefore, please make it so that we can see it quickly. He said: Friends, let those exceedingly exalted sons of gods wait until they have gone before the Blessed One and spoken words of joy. Then, they gathered in one place, peeking from the side and sitting looking at the Blessed One. Then, the Brahma gods, the rulers of the Saha world, together with eighty-four kotis of hundreds of thousands of Brahma gods, took the precious adornment to be enjoyed by the Bodhisattva and offered it to the Tathagata.
