If the result of cyclic existence is like that, which wise person would not generate the mind of enlightenment? It is possible to measure the limits of the sky, and to count the end of the great ocean, but to measure the merit of even a small amount of faith in the Buddhas is extremely difficult. As long as one has not touched the bliss of nirvana, one will not experience the suffering of not having leisure. Therefore, having obtained the field of merit of the Victorious Ones, a cautious person should make offerings with respect. When one is particularly devoted to the Buddhas, even making a small offering to the relics of the Sugata after nirvana, the extent of its merit, if it cannot be contemplated, then let it be. Offering to the Victorious Ones with the mind of enlightenment, and these four immeasurable dharmas, as well as the realm of space and the realms of sentient beings, no one but the Teacher can know. Because in order to gather all sentient beings, how the mind of enlightenment abides after it arises, a poor person would not be as happy as finding a treasure within a yojana's range. For the enlightenment of the Buddhas, the eight manifestations and ten powers of the Victorious Ones, as well as the five hundred joys and four activities of gathering sentient beings, eighty thousand entrances to realization, eighty-four difficult-to-realize places, sixty thousand unsurpassed gates, seventy-six distinctions of grounds and wisdom, eighteen practices symbolizing the Buddhas, five subjugations of others and ten steadfastnesses, and eleven hundred million spheres of activity, and whatever other qualities of the Buddhas, names and marks and conduct, are they the sphere of activity of solitary realizers? What need is there to mention the Shravaka followers? Because there is no comparison, there is no similarity, therefore it is said that the Buddha is inconceivable. Whoever has the supreme mind of enlightenment, they are not inferior, incomparable practitioners. They have found great wealth in the world today, they live by the good life of the world. Having destroyed the armies of demons and touched the nectar, they are satisfied like a dense rain cloud. Whoever enters the mind of enlightenment, saves the world. They are gathered by the seven treasures. If one can endure hundreds of thousands of sufferings, therefore whoever enters the mind of enlightenment will not be weary. He will quickly obtain those qualities, and the world

Even the peak of merit can turn into impurity. Through the cause of desire, one will experience much suffering. By the ripening of which, one will fall into the lower realms. For the sake of going to higher realms and the qualities of enlightenment, Who among the wise would disagree with children? Children disagree, the wise do not disagree. Ignorance is confusion, the knowledgeable attain mindfulness. The foolish sink in the mud, the wise abide on level ground. Those who practice the Dharma are patient with it. Therefore, those who are not reasonable should be abandoned, Those who are the object of knowledge, the reasonable should be relied upon. Even abandoning wealth and the attainment of fame, One should practice yoga in this samadhi. Even remembering the qualities of each Buddha, If one can endure countless trillions of eons, The qualities of the Buddha are inconceivable, what need is there to say more? Therefore, gladly accept suffering and hardship, In the order of patience and samadhi, Ride the chariot of the victory banner of diligence and discipline, Subdue the armies of Mara with the arrow of the power of generosity and wisdom, Having defeated them, touch enlightenment. With loving friends and spiritual mentors for practice, And the inseparable Mother and the joyful other shore, If one eats the food of emptiness and the food of strength, Then one will obtain the qualities of omniscience. Therefore, as it is said here, with certainty, Always practice with mindfulness. Like a swan rejoicing in the sky with its cry, May you quickly attain omniscience. In the past, there was a king named Supreme Joy. At that time, there appeared a Tathagata named Boundless Diligence, accompanied by countless hundreds of thousands of attendants, and he taught this samadhi. When he was teaching this samadhi, there was a king named Flower of Merit who, upon hearing it, said to his thousand consorts and thousand sons: "We do not understand the meaning of this samadhi, which appears to exhaust itself. Because we do not understand it, we cannot realize it. Nevertheless, we should rejoice in what the Tathagata has well spoken." Having rejoiced in this samadhi, which the Bhagavan has well spoken and explained, in the moment of their rejoicing, they destroyed samsara for eighty thousand eons and turned away from it. They also obtained the dharani called "Householder."
