Practicing the perfection of wisdom is like this: one does not cling to saying, "These dharmas are superior," or "These dharmas are inferior." One also does not cling to those dharmas that become superior or inferior. Therefore, a son of good family who strives in the yoga of practicing the perfection of wisdom does not cling to all dharmas. World-Honored One, practicing the perfection of wisdom does not contemplate which dharma is superior or which is inferior. Why is that? World-Honored One, because in existence, there is nothing that can be called superior or inferior. In suchness, the limit of reality, and among all dharmas, there is also no superior or inferior. World-Honored One, if one practices in this way, it is practicing the perfection of wisdom. After speaking thus, the World-Honored One said to Manjushri, who had become a youth: Manjushri, are the dharmas of the Buddhas not superior? Manjushri replied: World-Honored One, because they cannot be grasped, the dharmas of the Buddhas are superior. World-Honored One, did the Tathagata awaken to complete perfect enlightenment in the emptiness of all dharmas? The World-Honored One said: Manjushri, it is so. The Tathagata awakened to complete perfect enlightenment in the emptiness of all dharmas. Manjushri replied: World-Honored One, is there anything called superior or inferior in emptiness itself? The World-Honored One said: Manjushri, well said, well said! Manjushri, it is just so. It is as you have said. Manjushri, are the dharmas of the Buddhas not unsurpassed? Manjushri replied: It is so. The dharmas of the Buddhas are unsurpassed. Why is that? World-Honored One,

Is the practitioner. The Blessed One said: Manjushri, do you contemplate the Dharmas of the Buddhas? Manjushri replied: Blessed One, if I could see the Dharmas of the Buddhas as completely accomplished, then I would contemplate the Dharmas of the Buddhas well. Blessed One, the practice of Prajnaparamita is not to abide with any conceptualization on any Dharma, thinking, "These are the Dharmas of ordinary beings, these are the Dharmas of the Shravakas, these are the Dharmas of the Pratyekabuddhas, these are the Dharmas of the perfectly complete Buddhas." Why is that? Blessed One, a son of good family who strives in the yoga of practicing Prajnaparamita does not even see that Dharma itself. As for those Dharmas that are called the Dharmas of ordinary beings, or the Dharmas of learners, or the Dharmas of non-learners, or the Dharmas of the Pratyekabuddhas, or the Dharmas of the perfectly complete Buddhas, since that is the Dharmata that is beyond extremes, that Dharma is not seen, and it is not truly followed and seen. Blessed One, if one practices in this way, it is the practice of Prajnaparamita. Blessed One, A son of good family who strives in the yoga of practicing Prajnaparamita does not contemplate, "This is the desire realm, this is the form realm, this is the formless realm," up to "This is the cessation." Why is that? Blessed One, in this way, he does not see any Dharma that is the Dharma of cessation. Blessed One, if one practices in this way, it should be known as the practice of Prajnaparamita. Blessed One, furthermore, that which neither benefits nor harms any Dharma is the practice of Prajnaparamita. Blessed One, the practice of Prajnaparamita is neither giving the Dharmas of the Buddhas, nor cutting off the Dharmas of ordinary beings. Blessed One, that which neither prevents the Dharmas of ordinary beings nor obtains the Dharmas of the Buddhas is Prajnaparamita.

is the practice of Prajñāpāramitā. Having thus requested, the Blessed One spoke to Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta as follows: "Mañjuśrī, it is excellent, excellent that you have taught such a profound Dharma. Mañjuśrī, this cause has been established so that Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas, those with pride in the Śrāvakayāna, and those with attachment in the Bodhisattvayāna may truly understand as it is. Mañjuśrī, those sons or daughters of good family who, upon hearing this profound teaching of Prajñāpāramitā, do not become frightened, terrified, or changed, have not merely attended to one Buddha, nor have they merely planted roots of virtue before one Buddha." Having spoken thus, the Blessed One, Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta, addressed the Blessed One as follows: "Blessed One, I am able to extensively teach Prajñāpāramitā." The Blessed One instructed: "Mañjuśrī, please teach!" Mañjuśrī requested: "Blessed One, that which does not perceive the abiding of any Dharma, nor does it perceive the non-abiding, that is the practice of Prajñāpāramitā. Why is that? Because all Dharmas are not perceived for the sake of non-abiding. Blessed One, not abiding closely for the sake of not particularly clinging to any Dharma, that can be considered the practice of Prajñāpāramitā. Why is that? Blessed One, because all Dharmas are for the sake of having no clinging. Blessed One, such practice is the practice of Prajñāpāramitā. Blessed One, furthermore, for what, even the Dharmas of the Buddhas do not appear, what need to mention the Dharmas of the Pratyekabuddhas? Even the Dharmas of the Śrāvakas do not appear, what need to mention the Dharmas of ordinary beings? That can be considered the practice of Prajñāpāramitā. Blessed One, furthermore, relying on what practice, one does not discriminate that 'the Dharmas of the Buddhas are inconceivable' even for the inconceivable Dharmas of the Buddhas, that is the practice of Prajñāpāramitā. Blessed One, the practice of Prajñāpāramitā
