The Sutra of the Great Vehicle, called "The Holy Seven Hundred Prajnaparamita". The Sutra of the Great Vehicle, called "The Holy Seven Hundred Prajnaparamita". From the "Hundred Thousand Chapters of the Holy Great Collection of Jewels Dharma," the forty-sixth chapter, which is the prophecy of "The Holy Seven Hundred Prajnaparamita." Volume One. In the language of India: Aryasaptasatiikanamaprajnaparamitamahayanasutra Aryasaptashatika-nama-prajnaparamita-mahayana-sutra (Holy Seven Hundred Prajnaparamita Great Vehicle Sutra). In the Tibetan language: The Sutra of the Great Vehicle, called "The Holy Seven Hundred Prajnaparamita." Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard. At one time, the Blessed One was dwelling in Anathapindika's Park in Jeta Grove in Shravasti, together with a great Sangha of one thousand monks. Also, countless Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who had donned great armor, all of whom were non-retrogressing from unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, namely: Manjushri, the youthful one; Maitreya; Unobstructed Eloquence; Unwavering Perseverance; and so forth. These Bodhisattvas were also together with millions of others. Then, Manjushri, the youthful one, in order to behold the Tathagata, to pay homage, and to make offerings, arose from his own abode at the time of dawn. He went to the gate of the Tathagata's palace, and having arrived there, stood outside the palace gate. Then, the venerable Sharadvatiputra also arose from his own abode in order to behold the Blessed One, to pay homage, and to make offerings. He went to the Tathagata's palace. Then, the venerable Gangpo, son of Maitri; the venerable Maha Maudgalyayanaputra; the venerable Maha Kashyapa; the venerable Maha Katyayanaputra; the venerable Mahakaushthila; and all the other great Shravakas arose from their respective abodes and went to the Blessed One's palace, and having arrived there, they gathered in one place. Then, the Blessed One, knowing that the great Shravakas had come, arrived, and gathered,

Having come from my own palace, a seat was laid out in one direction outside the palace, and he sat down. After sitting down, the Blessed One, knowing, spoke to the venerable son of Sharadvati: "Son of Sharadvati, why have you come in the morning and are standing at the gate of the Tathagata's palace?" After saying this, the venerable son of Sharadvati said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, at the very beginning, Manjushri, having become a youth, arrived at the gate of the Tathagata's palace. I have come to see the Blessed One." Then, the Blessed One, knowing, spoke to Manjushri, having become a youth: "Manjushri, is it true that you are staying at the gate of the Tathagata's palace at the very beginning in order to see the Tathagata, to pay homage, and to serve him?" After saying this, Manjushri, having become a youth, said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, it is so. Sugata, it is so, I have come from my own abode at the very beginning in order to see the Tathagata, to pay homage, and to serve him. Having arrived at the place where the Tathagata's palace is, I went in one direction. Why is that? Blessed One, it is because I want to fully see the Tathagata, to pay homage, and to serve him. Blessed One, my going to see the Tathagata, to pay homage, and to serve him is also for the benefit of all sentient beings. Blessed One, if I see the Tathagata, pay homage, and serve him, then how will I see, how will I pay homage, how will I serve, I will see in that way. I will pay homage in that way. I will serve in that way. In that way, I will see the Tathagata and serve him. Blessed One, I am seeing the Tathagata for the benefit of all sentient beings. The Blessed One said: Manjushri, the Tathagata

How to view? Manjushri reported: By means of non-objectification, and the aspect of suchness, by means of non-discrimination, to view the Tathagata. Similarly, to view the Tathagata in the aspect of non-arising, up to the aspect of non-existence of things, to view the Tathagata. There is no arising in suchness, therefore, to view the Tathagata in this way. Suchness is neither arising nor destruction, therefore, to view the Tathagata in this way. Suchness is neither arising nor destruction, therefore, to view the Tathagata in this way. Suchness does not abide in a place, does not abide in a direction, therefore, to view the Tathagata in this way. Suchness is not past, not future, not present, therefore, to view the Tathagata in this way. Suchness is completely divided by two, because there is no two, so it is not divided either, therefore, to view the Tathagata in this way. Suchness is not completely defiled, nor is it completely purified, therefore, to view the Tathagata in this way. Suchness does not arise, does not cease, therefore, to view the Tathagata in this way. Thus seeing the Tathagata, one will see the Tathagata, prostrate to the Tathagata, and serve and honor the Tathagata. After reporting this, the Blessed One said to Manjushri, who had become a youth, in this way: Manjushri, what do you see when you look like that? Manjushri reported: Blessed One, when I look like that, I do not see anything. Blessed One, similarly, I do not see the arising of any dharma, nor do I see its cessation. Then, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said to Manjushri, who had become a youth, in this way: Manjushri, how is it that you see the Tathagata in this way, and how is it that you serve and honor him in this way? Although you abide closely with great loving-kindness towards all sentient beings, you have no attachment to sentient beings, nor any obvious clinging to sentient beings, and although you enter for the sake of completely liberating all sentient beings from suffering, you have no
