Completely abandoning and separately discerning afflictions. If one can realize these eight dharmas, one will completely abandon love and hatred. Then, the Blessed One again taught in verse: Having put on the armor of loving-kindness, cherishing all beings with compassion, and abiding in equanimity, love and hatred will not arise in the mind. The wise, through the training of benefiting others, constantly give happiness to others, and even if they gain benefits, they do not see their own merit. Even if they suffer contempt and slander, they do not hold grudges. Because they are not shaken by the eight winds, love and hatred will not arise. Whether it is oneself or others, the distinction between love and hatred will not arise. Completely abandoning all concepts, there is no attachment to the places one goes. Constantly being aware of one's own body, there is no attachment to body and life. The wise are not shaken by suffering and happiness, like the sky. If one can well discern afflictions, one can abandon both self and what belongs to self. Because abandoning and grasping are always equal like the earth, love and hatred will not arise. Furthermore, daughter of a good family, if a Bodhisattva possesses eight dharmas, he will not be wearied by samsara. What are these eight? Because the roots of virtue are like vast trees, because one can separately discern beings, because one can constantly see and make offerings to the Tathagatas, because one can see immeasurable Buddha-fields, because one constantly seeks the wisdom of the Buddha, because one can thoroughly realize samsara as a dream, because there is no cowardice towards special dharmas, and because one can separately discern the past, future, and true limits. Then, the Blessed One again taught in verse: Practicing the path of yoga, a monk has no faults, diseases, or defilements, like the pure moon in the sky, he can liberate suffering beings. In order to accumulate merits, one will not be wearied by samsara. Discerning the nature of beings and diligently practicing the excellent teachings. In immeasurable Buddha-fields, reverently making offerings to the Buddhas, therefore, one who possesses the ten powers will not be wearied by samsara. Immeasurable and boundless worlds.

Du. (Seed syllable) Inconceivably teaches the Dharma, does not cut off the lineage of the Three Jewels, manifestly attains Buddhahood as a Dharma King. Whoever upholds pure morality will not be wearied by samsara, and will know the nature of samsara as like dreams, clouds, and lightning. Whoever is liberated from the Dharma will not be completely wearied by samsara. Abiding in enlightenment, always happy with a joyful mind. Whoever has gone to the other shore by means, will not be completely wearied by samsara. Constantly practicing the sacred Dharma will also increase like the moon in the sky. Whoever desires the qualities of the Buddha will not be completely wearied by samsara. Even though samsara is without end, it always abides at the correct limit. Momentarily in accordance with wisdom, one will not be wearied by samsara. Furthermore, if a daughter possesses eight qualities, the realm of the mind will become equal. What are the eight? Because the mind is like the earth, because the mind is like water, because the mind is like fire, because the mind is like wind, because the mind is like space, because the mind is like the realm of Dharma, the mind is like liberation, and the mind is like nirvana. These are called the eight aspects of the equality of the realm of mind. Then, the Bhagavan spoke again in verses: Because the mind is like the earth, it bears all burdens, whether good or bad, neither increasing nor decreasing. Because the mind is like water, it washes away impurities, nourishes all the worlds, and alleviates the suffering of afflictions. Because the mind is like fire, it burns away afflictions, and with the light of the great lamp, there is nothing that it does not illuminate. Because the mind is like wind, it has no abiding and no support, and with the fragrance of morality and hearing, it pervades all three times. Because the mind is like space, it abandons views and is completely pure, and although it pervades everything, it does not follow the demons. Because the mind is like the realm of Dharma, it abides in bliss, neither increasing nor decreasing.
