Likewise, if this realm of consciousness is transferred, then one's own merit and non-merit are seen by that realm of consciousness. For example, a blind person cannot see the sun rising, nor can they see the sun at its zenith, and at night they cannot see the moon rising and setting. Similarly, this realm of consciousness is not apparent in the body. Mañjuśrī, however, whatever is attachment to the body, feeling, perception, and complete understanding, that is the realm of consciousness, and it also causes the various realms, sources, and aggregates of this body to meet. Among them, material objects are like this: eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and sounds. Feelings, suffering, happiness, and mind are non-material objects, and that is the realm of consciousness. Mañjuśrī, just as the tip of a person's tongue can sense bitter, spicy, sour, sweet, salty, and astringent tastes, his tongue is material, and the substance of taste is also material. Similarly, for this body, bones, legs, flesh, and blood are material, but feeling is non-material, and it is through this that one experiences maturation, merit, and non-merit, and that is consciousness. Then, Bhadrapāla touched the feet of the Blessed One and said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, what is it that experiences merit and non-merit? The Blessed One replied: Bhadrapāla, therefore listen, because one has not seen the truth, one does not see this consciousness, it is like placing an Emblic myrobalan in the palm of one's hand, it will not be seen. It does not reside in the eye, and even if it arises from the eye, it will not be seen. Bhadrapāla, just as the Tathāgata sees this realm of consciousness in the manner of the sands of the Ganges, I also understand that it is not material, but because children do not understand, this realm of consciousness is shown by example. Bhadrapāla, this realm of consciousness knows merit and non-merit as they are, just like someone

Is it epilepsy? Is it forgetfulness? Is it possessed by the demon of Gandharva, or possessed by the demon of the gods? Good Protector, what do you think about this? Is it that the epilepsy dwells in that person's body? Gandharva? Or does the god appear? Request. World Honored One, it is not like that. Even in or after that person's body, there is no demon. Those demons are without form. Good Protector, for example, the great demon of the gods likes to receive very fragrant flowers, incense, incense, and garlands, similarly, the consciousness aggregate with merit also takes the body, making it the ruler of the throne, a merchant, or a god. Thus, this consciousness aggregate is enjoying merit. Just as the demon of the gods is pleased by the garland of the gods, and that person's body also feels satisfied, this consciousness aggregate will also like the ruler of the throne, and that body will also feel satisfied. Thus, this consciousness aggregate is enjoying merit. Good Protector, for example, the ugly and invisible flesh-eating ghost demon dwells in the human body, liking impure things, rotten things, garbage, and things flowing from broken holes, and food offerings, and is also pleased by the food offerings. That person is also controlled by the demon and is attached to and likes the dirty food produced from dirty and impure things. Similarly, this consciousness aggregate will also generate bad birth places by approaching non-meritorious actions, and will be attached to and like poverty, bad hungry ghosts, or eating garbage. Thus, this consciousness aggregate is also enjoying non-merit. For example, the formless great demon of the gods accepts the enjoyment of the gods, similarly, The non-colored consciousness aggregate is also grasped by the non-colored merit, thereby generating the bodies of the gods. For example, the formless flesh-eating ghost demon dwells in people, eating feces and garbage, similarly, this consciousness aggregate will also be born in bad birth places by approaching non-meritorious actions. Thus, this consciousness aggregate is
